Cantaritos San Cristóbal — Restaurant in Chiapas

We chose this place because it was one of the few restaurants open after 10, but we had a really negative experience. One member of the staff in particular was quite rude and cold, and the food was even worse. The local cuisine was really disappointing (burritos and enchiladas were bearly acceptable, and the nachos were awful) and also the other plates we tried, like burgers and chicken wings, were quite bad. The drinks were nothing special as well, only the margarita was worth drinking, unlile the mojito and the sangria. The prices were comparable with the Mexican average. To top it all, they told us we had to pay with cash only when we got the check. Luckily, we had changed enough cash before, but the bare minimum should be to give this kind of information before, especially if you have a sign saying "we accept visa" at...

Pros: 1)Leaving the place

Cons: 1)My Food took 90 minutes+ to be delivered to table (gap of 30 mins+ between first and last meal on table) 2) When food arrived (fajitas) I had to ask 4 times for the tortillas that came with the meal, this took 10 minutes and food was cold by the time I could eat it. 3) I asked 4 times for sauces by the time it came out 10 minutes later I was only given two of the items and presented with plastic spoons to use sauces 4) Food was bland and below average. The good thing first: the Cantarnito drink based on tequila and lime and served in a clay mug which the restaurant is named after is good and fairly priced. I went there with a group and as a vegan I can not recommend eating there unless you do not want guacamole or french fries. I had both. The guacamole was ok, the fries came in such a small portion that they are nothing but over priced. The service was chaotic and didn't pay much attention.
