Casa de Willy Restaurante — Restaurant in Chiapas

When I first walked by Casa de Willy I noticed popular and cozy it looked. I immediately wanted to check it out. Well, I was not disappointed. I visited countless times during my stay in San Cris and every experience was excellent.

I’d definitely recommend the Chicken Cordon Bleu, chilequiles, and enchiladas. The food is mostly authentic Mexican, best for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Service is attentive, food comes out relatively quickly, and everything is both delicious and an excellent value for money.

There’s both an indoor and outdoor seating option, both are good but definitely enjoyed eating outside in the fresh air. The whole place had a homey atmosphere. We often stayed a bit longer to play cards because we loved the vibe so much....

Recommend by a local, we came Here for lunch around 4pm, it was packed house.

Food: delicious, we tried the special soup with fettuccine, vegetable and fried chicken, it’s like Italian mixed with Mexican and Asian, I love how the chef create something familiar yet new

Shrimp cucaracha is also very flavorful.

The empanada is a must order, with 4 of them at 30 pesos each, you can’t really go wrong with that.

And who would have guessed out of all the places, they got really good live jazz and blues playing. This would be the last place I would guess lol.

I’ve been hearing about this restaurant for well over a year, so today my wife and I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it missed the mark on all levels. My wife ordered the asada- very tough meat, and lacking flavor. I ordered the burrito- it was primarily ham, with very little pastor in it. Flavor wise- yea, definitely not a good combination. But the reason I’m leaving one star is because along with the meh food, my salad had a piece of hair in it. 🤢 what a shame. Maybe we just came...
