Denny's Torreón — Restaurant in Coahuila

Always a great experience at this Denny's. As Americans visiting Mexico this is our go-to breakfast place when in Torreon Mexico.

The food is good, the service was great, and the restaurant is always full of happy customers. This area of Torreon is nice and we have never had any safety issues during our many trips here.

WARNING - The Torreon Transit Police engage in Extortion and Corruption. We were stopped for allegedly driving through a pedestrian cross walk and not stopping while on a busy road but we did not see any crosswalk. The officer was aggressive, rude and threatened us with a $2,000 Peso fine and confiscation of my drivers license, but told us if we paid him $500 pesos he would return my license and let us go. Under threat we just paid him so we could be on our way... Be vigilant, be careful,...

In the beginning it took a little bit of time for the waiter or to come over . But once he came to the table he was on top of everything. I think he had a large section of tables to take care of or possibly covering for another waiter. After taking our drink orders he was quick to bring them back and take our food order. He then check on us every few minutes to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, and filling. The plate was full of food with large portions of everything.
