This place used to be a great restaurant when it was downtown. I had visited the old restaurant numerous times and the owner always seem to care and come over dressed nicely and make sure everything was OK. The place has moved. The ambience is not good. The view is horrible. The owner could give a crap less whether you’re having a good time or a good meal as he sits in a chair playing on his phone. My girlfriend and I went there a few nights ago. We each had a salad, we shared an antipasti, we shared a pizza, and had five Drinks. When I looked at my bill the next day and saw that it was $236, I knew something was wrong. I called them the next day and asked them why it was so high. The bottom line is they charge $20 for a Woodford reserve on the rocks. This drink is typically $8-10 at any other restaurant in Cabo. During dinner the smoke detector battery was out and the smoke detector was chirping every minute, and was extremely annoying.I called it to the attention of the waiter who told me that was the noise from the air conditioner. I told him I was no idiot and knew exactly what it was and the smoke detectors were on the ceiling 20 feet in the air where they could not be accessed. The owner could care less. He did come over dressed in blue jeans and an old T-shirt And thank us for being repeat customers after I told the waiter that I was disappointed that he wouldn’t even bother to come thank us for coming and at the time we were the only people in the restaurant. Do not waste your time or your money going to this place. I will also mention that the pizza had ingredients barely piled around the center and it was mostly just a piece of bread dough with a few ingredients in the middle. I showed the waiter the picture that we took from the last time we were there and how the pizza had much more ingredients on it. He could care Less. There are a lot of better Italian restaurants in Cabo that I would recommend you try before you go to this place. It is overpriced and you will be...

A little unsure about all the hype. Oven pizza was phenomenal, everything else not so much.

The service was inconsistent, but definitely friendly. I had 5 different people stop by my table. I lost track who I was talking to and the lost track of what I wanted. I had to repeat myself a lot.

The bread arrived with no plate for oil/vinegar. When I asked for butter, I got margarine. Gross, I spat it into my napkin.

Salad was $15 for literally spring mix with a spoon of cherry tomatoes, some sprinkles of a nut and dried fruit, and a drizzle of oil and vinegar. Very disappointed.

I ordered a glass of Malbec. It was a little overpriced for a house wine in Mexico, $15 a glass. First glass was great, just how I like it, room temp. Second glass was wayyy too cold, super condensated the glass like a wine cooler, and tasted exactly like a cab. Definitely a bate and switch. Then a fruity fly took a nose dive straight into it.

Pizza was amazing though! I mean really amazing. It made everything else worth it. The fresh Parmesan and chili oil was heavenly.

Also, there was live music! A decent touch.

I really just wish the place could tidy up around the rough edges a little. There is so much potential. Also, they boxed my half of a very large pizza into a small personal sized box, the slices all stacked on top of each other. Whyyy?? Please don't do that. It ruins...

I have to say I don’t write reviews and most reviews for this spot are good. Maybe you need to know owner, but we visited twice and won’t go back or recommend. Our first visit was walking in and getting a table as I was later. We then proceeded to sit at table for 10 minutes without one person coming over to start service. We decided to leave and let hostess know. Then decided to give another try. I got there a little early waiting for friends put name in for table and while eating went to bar for drink. Both bartenders ignored me for 5 minutes and then had to wave one down for drink. Then I had stools at bar, friends showed up and same experience. Took 5 minutes to get a drink, then the main bartender that took order didn’t make it washed glasses in front of us and then we had to ask again and the other bartender did drink. Which both friends though was really bad margarita. Anyways twice bad out. Maybe else loves it but if you looking for good service or don’t know owner might be...

I was hesitant to try an Italian restaurant in Mexico until this was recommended by an Italian couple we met at the pool. This comfortable vibe with extremely friendly staff that speak Spanish and English will make for a unique and reasonably affordable experience. My husband and I were able to take our time and enjoy a nice Italian meal that was not too heavy (I tend to not prefer heavy meals in the heat). The portions were reasonably sized, priced and tasty. We did not try the pizza, but heard great things. We would highly recommend the Cesar salad (original recipe) and recommend the ravioli. This is a great place for a comfortable family meal in a relaxed environment.

The Italian Job located on the corner of Ave.Del Pescardo 7 and Acuario. A fantastic Italian Restaurant just down the hill coming back from all the local beach bars. Outstanding service all the time, and food tastes amazing as well. Great flavor everytime we've been in with great presentation also. Salads Pastas you name it ..it's always top-notch. And the Firewood Pizza 🍕 is outstanding, we at least grab a couple Pizza 🍕 Pies to take home a few times while we stay at the Condo if we decide to just stay in and watch a Football game or Hockey game UFC or even for a movie night. The Italian Job is always one of our must stops at least a couple times.

Close to our Corazon resort, a couple of minutes walk. Loved the atmosphere and snappy and responsive service. LARGE Portion size appetizers (Clams & mussels). All the flavors and taste were excellent and on point for authentic Italian food. The one minor glitch was the fish was under cooked…it was immediately rectified with another plate cooked better. I attributed it to the fish not being at room temperature before cooking, which left the thick fillet raw in the middle. The pasta and sauces were excellent. The drinks were perfect. A live singer was performing and serenading guest. I would return and eat here again.
