La Cienega Restaurante — Restaurant in Ensenada

New place in the heart of residential Ensenada.

First, the restaurant is beautiful. Wonderful decor and architecture create the perfect harmony in ambiance.

Second, the staff are very personable and knowledgeable and make you feel very much at home.

Third and more importantly, the food is truly amazing; young team of chef's, sous chef's and pastry chefs will make this a memorable meal. The flavors are exquisite, execution of dishes on point and the presentation a sight.

You will not be disappointed.

I will comment on the lackluster wine list which is not bad but also not great and this menu deserves a...

1. Servicio: Es muy lento y hay poco personal. El cliente debe entrar a ese lugar con mucha paciencia y con la probabilidad de que tardarán en ser atendidos en 30 min o más. Favor de prestarle atención a ese detalle.

2. Comida: Regular. La relación calidad-precio está dentro del rango normal, pero hay que tomar en cuenta que apenas van empezando. Hay que darles algo de tiempo para que mejore.

3. Infraestructura: La decoración es buena y muy vanguardista, PERO dejaron a un lado las accesibilidades. Por esto me refiero a que las sillas son muy incómodas, los baños son hasta el 3er piso (por cierto, un baño para hombres y mujeres), y la accesibilidad para discapacitados es nula (no me imagino a un cliente en muletas que tenga que subir hasta el tercer piso para ir al baño). La ubicación tampoco ayuda porque para el sector al que van dirigidos, si usamos un poco la lógica, si quieren atraer muchos clientes, debieron haberse establecido en una zona donde haya competencia. Yo me esperaba que estuvieran en la Calle Primera o en el Blvd Costero, no en una zona residencial con estacionamiento limitado y en donde tengo yo entendido, no tienen permiso de suelo para operar.

Volveré pero hasta que se cambien a una zona más céntrica y sobre todo, cuando hayan hecho una mejor planeación pensando en todos...
