Las Kawas Ensenada — Restaurant in Ensenada

We had a group of 7 (From Nashville and California) and stopped here 2 nights in a row while staying at a hotel near the water. We LOVED this place! So much energy, great music with the music videos playing on every screen, dance lights everywhere and our server (didn't catch his name but can be seen in the photo) was VERY attentive and got us everything we needed. There was a girl walking around with a whistle and getting people to do shots and would "shake" them up afterwards, was sooo funny to watch. My brothers and I were in Ensenada today and went to Las Kawas for lunch. Although our waiter Rene was very friendly, and offered free shots (not good), when we asked for the bill he said it was cash only, and $85–much too high for our meal. When I asked for the menu we ordered from, he gave me one with different, higher prices in USD. I then found one with the prices in pesos. He tried to say one was for lunch and one for dinner, then said one for cruise pax and one for locals. I objected and then totaled our bill to MX935 or USD49 vs the $85 he tried to get. Careful... came here during a cruise port... drink prices are much higher than anywhere else we went... unless the prices magically increase for cruisers. They don't show you a menu, and when I asked for one, he said, "I have the menu right here", and pointed to his head. Total came, and it was $48 for 2 beers and a double paloma 😅🙈 $8 per beer, and $16 per paloma (the "double" counted as 2 drinks).
