I can say that the hotel is modern and the staff is friendly. However, the front desk wanted to keep my DL as collateral (security purposes). Umm I need my DL to drive, so I said no, make a copy of it. I also requested extra towels from front desk and I was asked to pay $600 pesos for six towels that's $5 US dollars per towel. I have never heard of a hotel asking to their guests to pay for towels. I mean really! Their policy is that they can't supply new towels until the following day when they do house keeping. I bet if I needed more toilet paper they would ask for payment as well. I am one of those that opt out of house keeping unless I absolutely need it. One more thing, it is a bit noisy as well. Their is tile flooring in the walkways so, you can hear a lot of noise. Luggage rolling, house keeping with carts and buckets for mopping. House keeping staff was chit chatting out in the hall ways early in the morning. There was also construction going on. I could hear drilling. No peep hole in the doors to see who is knocking at the door. All these little things have changed my mind about returning...
Read moreWhen I got there to check in at 5pm, my room was not ready. I was offered a second room and when they went to take me to the room, the room was dirty, but it was marked clean by the housekeeping staff. I was offered a third room which was clean so I took it. The issues came the next day when my $200 gold and diamond necklace was stolen from the room while I was out. I called the hotel and let them know and they said that my room had been cleaned and that no one saw it. This is hard to believe since emy necklace was left on the nightstand. I offered money to see my necklace get returned since it had a lot of sentimental value. I was told that no one had seen it and that they couldn't do anything about it. So I checked out a day early and still had to pay for the night that I didn't stay. I was very disappointed by this. If I can get my necklace back, which is a long shot, I would be forever grateful. I am disappointed that they had a staff member or members that would stoop so low to steal from customers. Guard your things...
Read moreA friend and I decided to go down to Ensenada for 2 days and both reserved one room at this hotel. Overall the price / value was excellent. The hotel is really close from the main commercial street where all the bars, restaurants and shops are. The check in process was relatively fast; one of the rooms was ready before 2:00pm which was a plus. There was an elevator and we had rooms on the 4th floor away from the garages at the ground floo. My room was big, extremely clear and there was everything that one can need including two complimentary bottles of water and a fridge. My bed was very comfortable and it was incredibly quiet. Quite frankly there were very few tourists when we visited so there was no loud parties or any noise of any kind around the hotel which differs from previous reviews on this site. I would highly recommend this place as we had no issues and the staff was professional and...
