I recently visited Olivo Verde and was thoroughly impressed by the authentic flavors and delightful dishes. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:
Enchiladas:I have never had an enchilada as authentic and delicious as the one I had here. The enchiladas rojas were perfectly prepared, with a rich and flavorful sauce that tasted just like homemade. The balance of spices and the tenderness of the tortillas made it an unforgettable dish.
Limonada: The limonada was also exceptional. It was refreshing and perfectly balanced, not too sweet and not too tart. It complemented the meal wonderfully and was a delightful drink on its own.
Salad: My brother ordered a salad, and it was excellent. The ingredients were fresh, and the dressing was flavorful without being overpowering. It was a perfect starter that set the tone for the rest of the meal.
Overall ExperienceEverything we tried was outstanding. Olivo Verde has become my go-to place whenever I visit Ensenada. The quality of the food and the authenticity of the flavors make it a must-visit restaurant. Muy bien!
I highly recommend Olivo Verde for anyone looking to experience authentic Mexican cuisine...
Read moreWe were super hungry, but we are always very choosy about freshness and creativity. My wife chose a kombucha for a beverage, and I ordered an Americano coffee next door. The drinks were both excellent. And then, the entrees...
I ordered the tacos de puree de papas. They were taquitos style, but perfectly cooked, so they were still delicate with a nice light crunch. The potato filling was seasoned well with a surprisingly memorable flavor. These were topped with fresh lechuga and other verduras frescas.
My Wife ordered the vegan ceviche bowl, and it was irresistible (the couple spoonfuls I tried).
We will return often as we visit Ensenada more and more often. The outdoor seating is peaceful and the service and cooking staff are all friendly and on top of their game! The serving sizes were plenty adequate. Hunger situation was...
Read moreWe tried this place out because a vegan friend will be visiting and we weren’t sure what to feed her. Everything was delicious. And the chef was a sweetie - he personally waited on us and explained the menu in both Spanish and English.
I ordered the quinoa fried rice, my fiancé ordered the portobello burger.
We liked the Brussels sprouts in the rice so much that we asked if they could just do an order of fried Brussels sprouts for us and the chef said they actually have “fish” tacos made out of vegetable fritters and one of the vegetables used is Brussels sprouts. So we ordered that and it was the star of the show.
We had the fruit brownie for dessert. It was tasty for gluten free, but would have preferred some nice gluten.
We will definitely return and look forward to trying...
