What a surprise. It was meant to be when I took my friends to two other places that were unable to accommodate us. It was a blessing in disguise.
The extremely professional hostess at Alta Baja recommended this place saying it was really the only place that was open on a Sunday at this time (9pm).
We arrived & it was easy to find the location & parking. The service was fantastic & the food absolutely delicious. I ordered 3 burritos & each of my friends ordered 2 that’s how good it was. We each took one home with us for later (it was just as delicious when I got home lol). & it was also extremely inexpensive. $4 for a massive burrito.
Can’t wait to go back. Unfortunately I kept forgetting to take photos of the burritos. I just kept eating them too...

I ordered six items: Cabeza, saudero, buche, lengua, vampiros and a horchata. Mostly all excellent. The Horchata was average and the lengua, while delicious, was cut up in blocks that I would’ve preferred as more finely cut. The buche was my least favorite because I found it on the bland side. (But I only had the one buche taco.)
In fact, I saw in another review that some people order the lengua fried up and I can see why they do that. I’d come back! Next time I want to try a torta. Some people in our party had quesadillas and they looked...
