La Notaría Cocktail Bar (La Pinakoteca) — Restaurant in Guanajuato

Got recommendations to go here and couldn't recommend enough that you NOT GO.

We wanted to check it out for night 1 in GTO. We had a late lunch so wanted a light dinner. We ordered olives, guacamole, and pizza. Olives seemed like they were out of a can put into balsamic vinegar. Guacamole was ok, but the chips with it were all stale. Pizza was certainly a frozen pizza, but far, far worse than digiorno. The margarita pizza was just cherry tomatoes cut in half with the same olives from above. Worst of all, this and two bottles of water was $40USD. I'd have paid less at a hotel in the US.

Service was slow and terrible despite being one of two tables. Our waiter was friendly, but we had to track him down to pay after asking for the check 5 minutes prior.

We weren't expecting a fine dining experience or anything fancy, just some decent food and service. Normally I wouldn't write a review and just shrug it off as a bad meal, but the price was just ridiculous.

Good: The view was incredible and while we didn't have cocktails, I'd hope...

Very nice rooftop bar lounge. The design is contemporary with a rustic feel and everything looks brand new and well taken care of. The whole building looks to be recently renovated and everything is very clean.

The service was great and our server was very nice and helpful. We had a few beers and a desert that was delicious. The view is spectacular especially at night. You can see the churches, university and Monumento Al Pipila. This is especially nice because of the way they light it...

Empezaré diciendo que la experiencia fue HORRIBLE, reservamos para el evento de año nuevo. La cena la llevaron pasando las 12:00 am, (del 1 de enero) siendo que la reserva fue a las 10:00 pm preguntamos en tres ocasiones por nuestros alimentos y solo recibíamos respuestas ambiguas de “ya casi llegan” La comida estuvo bastante meh 🫤 igual que el vino. Además del menú de año nuevo nosotros pedimos coctelería, a esto le doy 7/10 Las copas de vino y las uvas las llevaron 3 minutos antes del conteo, solo porque las pedimos dos veces Después para el postre se suponía que debían llevarnos un pastel de chocolate, y sin preguntar, lo que llevaron fue un cheescake de guayaba, yo, intolerante a la lactosa 🤡 obviamente no me lo pude comer, cuando preguntamos, la razón que dieron fue que ya se había acabado el otro postre. Cuando ya nos íbamos vimos que a otra mesa les estaban llevando el pastel de chocolate que a nosotros nos negaron… A esto aumentar que hace mucho frío (cosa que a pesar de que no es su culpa) a otras mesas les ofrecieron una frazada, tampoco buscaron acercarnos una de las antorchas ya que estábamos en la orilla de la terraza Cabe decir que antes de las 11 pm una mesa hizo un reclamo muy fuerte pues también se quejaron del servicio y que llevaban más de una hora esperando los alimentos para que al final les dijeran que se...
