México lindo y sabroso de Marfil — Restaurant in Guanajuato

Fue un día que cambio de ánimo, de “alegría” por salir a desayunar a “enojo y frustración”. Fui al buffet. Mala decisión. Para empezar es de los pocos buffets qué hay en Guanajuato (eso debería ser un área del oportunidad para el negocio,, pero mal aprovechada). Su buffet: $200 pesos y no va relación Valor-Precio.. Sin problema pago más por un buffet, y lo he pagado. Creo que el problema es el mal servicio. Pero también por parte del negocio pueden ‘hacer más’, pues no es un negocio que vaya iniciando.. Había 2 meseros, y el lugar lleno.. y el más veterano, me trató súper mal (hombre de 50 años aprox) Es arrogante, prepotente, subido de tono, se cree que tiene el derecho de hablarle mal a los comensales. Ejemplo, pedí café, el cual consecuentemente se tardaban mucho en resurtir, le dije: “me puede dar más café por favor”, a lo que no me respondió, por lo que cuando paso detrás de mi, le repetí nuevamente, y me contestó enojado “ya te escuché”.. Perdón pero no es un favor el que me hace, estoy pagando por el café y yo lo traté muy bien en todo momento,,, Además, el servicio que merece uno de los lugares que se puede catalogar como uno de los mejores (lamentable pero Guanajuato tiene pésimo servicio en la mayoría de los restaurantes, salvo Casa Valadez, Amaxthi y La Burgesa) Como este tipo de respuesta fue consecutivo, pedí tortillas y fue lo mismo, habíamos pedido agua y nadie lo trajo, lo volví a pedir y se molestó, y el café ni se diga.. Pregunté si había hotcakes para los niños y nuevamente se molestó y me respondió enojado: en el bufet los hay, hay hot-cakes y una wafflera (Pienso que creen que la gente no sabe que es una wafflera, el punto es que no había wafflera, solo un tostador de pan, le pregunté a la encargada sobre la wafflera y me dijo que era el tostador de pan, para calentar los hotcakes) 2 meseros para el Restaurante lleno. Para resultar el café hay que levantar la mano, y si eres cafetero, ya valió! Las tortillas deberían de estar con la señora de los guisados, no estarlos pidiendo y que se tarden. Guisados son solo 5. No hay huevos al gusto o huevera, sólo chilaquiles. Nosotros previamente buscamos en internet o Google maps y dice qué tienen jugos en su buffet, y NO lo hay, solo aguas, de guayaba y tamarindo.. Nuevamente le pregunté al mesero: Oye, hay jugo? Y me respondió: “lo qué hay en el buffet es lo que hay”, le dije: “entonces no hay jugo?”, y me dijo: “ya te dije que solo lo qué hay en el buffet, si ves qué hay agua eso hay, si no vez jugo, no lo hay”

Si no tienes problema con lo que me sucedió, te explico que tiene el buffet::: El bufet tiene 3 frutas, yogurt para complementar. Pan dulce, no muy bueno. Hay hotcakes, Frios y una tostadora para calentarlos.. No hay jugo, hay agua. Hay 5 guisados y te sirve la señora, tu no puede servirte. Además te preparan chilaquiles. Es todo! Si con eso te conformas, estás en buen lugar… Solo tienes que rogar al mesero por café y no hacerlo molestar, porque es egolatra, por lo menos a mi y mi familia nos trataron como si ellos fueran unos Dioses del desayuno, y la verdad, ni en el la Vaka Buffet! (El de la foto es el mesero subido de nivel) Por si fuera poco, son muy pocos los lugares con juegos en Guanajuato, mínimo deberían tener...

Que puedo decir. Es Lindo y Sabroso. The only thing I didn't care for that the Marfil location is that they don't have Victoria beer like they do at the one near La Presa. The morphe location has those horrible Dos Equis products which I will not drink. However they do have vodka and soda so I survived. The food in both locations is excellent and the service top notch.

The Marfil location is in a beautiful open and airy building in a park-like setting with a little creek, that turns into a river sometimes, running alongside of it. I know it turns into a river sometimes because one can actually see people's clothing up in the trees at the high water level when the creek was running high ... I suppose during the rainy season.

It's close enough to my house to walk to but, it does have a secure parking lot. There isn't much space though, you could probably get maybe eight small cars and five big ones like my Grand Cherokee in there. Take a taxi, the taxis here are cheap and then you can drink and not worry...

Food was eatable, Terrible services. the food was cold the waitress ...well I took 3 waitress to attend us, none offer us if we wanted anything else. I complain to their manager he first defend their waitress until I explained why their service was terrible and then he said he "was sorry and that he would fix it". I have read other reviews like mine so I doubt anything is getting fix. THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO INCLUDE THE TIP in the bill after that service? Really? that just made me upset. I have literally been in food stand were they have better quality of service then here.

After I left the place angry , I order food from across the street in LA BURGUESA DE LA PRESA. Their employees were nicer and my order was ready in 10 min and their food was actually pretty bomb and the ambient was great too another great place to eat is LOS HUACALES Delicious food too and their service is great too, drinks just need a little more sugar...
