Just finished an excellent meal at Elvira’s. The food is fresh and plentiful. We are from Vancouver Island, Canada so have access to a lot of seafood. We know when seafood is fresh. The order of large shrimp cocktail tasted so fresh it was like it just came off the boat and prepared exceptionally well. The shrimp and avocado dish tasted out of this world. You can tell that the owner (Leonardo now in his 80s) treats staff well as they are very organized and keep the establishment clean as a whistle. Ask Salvador (who is bilingual in Spanish and English) to bring you one of the cold Victoria beers they serve among others.
