Chi-Palace Costa Azul — Restaurant in Guerrero

First off, I am Chinese and, I am also a food critic. During our visit to Acapulco last year, my wife and I, together with my wife's family went to this restaurant for dinner. We ordered 5 to 6 dishes including noodles and fried rice. I found the food good and I 'd rate it between 7 and 8 out of 10. 3 weeks ago, as we had just arrived in Acapulco again, we went to this restaurant and ordered about the same dishes. 4 of us tried this place tonight. The food was great! The portions were huge!! One entre will easily feed 2-4 people. The egg rolls (beef) and the wonton soup were standouts. Mixito stir fry, Mongolian beef and General Chicken were all good.

Only street parking. Ample, comfortable seating. Really no decor other than 2 TVs and a bamboo screen by the restroom hallway. Service was great and the waiter spoke fluent English.

Creo que es de la comida china mas sabrosa de Acapulco(calidad-precio) para no ser excesivamente cara, nada que ver con la de la gran plaza o sendero (que la carne es de dudosa procedencia o baja calidad) El local es algo pequeño (o sea normal) pero es muy cómodo para ir en pareja o con grupos grandes ya que las raciones son como para 3 personas. El te de jazmín es super delicioso, nada que ver con el que venden en otros lados super artificial El aire acondicionado es super no hace frio que te congelas ni calor sofocante Los precios de los platillos oscilan entre 200+ pero en serio vale muchísimo la pena. Los meseros por lo general son amables, es un buen punto medio, no pasan a cada rato a tu mesa pero tampoco te dejan sin atención La comida no es express pero diría que no tardan mucho tiempo o por lo menos no se siente la espera Puntos malos: hace como un año, antes de la pandemia sentí que bajaron la calidad de su comida así que deje de ir por un largo tiempo, ahora que volví a ir de nuevo, volvieron a la calidad aunque eso me hace pensar si varía o algo porque esa había sido la única vez (de las anteriores y esta) que la comida pasaba así, así que no sabría si solo fue un mal día o algo. No creo que la sopa wong ton (no se como se escriba) sea su fuerte, a veces es muy salada, o sabe mucho a gengibre, aparte de que le ponen pura cebolla (puerro) y apio casi nada de zanahoria o carne.
