Indigo — Restaurant in Guerrero

Showed up here on a Saturday night with every seat taken...except for 2 high chairs at a bar style table. We expected a long wait. As busy and full as they were, we had food in front of us in a reasonable time.

If you come here, you MUST HAVE THE HAMBURGER!!!! This is the best hamburger I have had in my life!!! No exaggeration. Better than I have had at high-end restaurants like Seattle's Metropolitan Grill. It is the thing that keeps me from trying their Argentinian steaks, which look amazing and is Indigo's specialty.

Their salads are amazing as well...and huge. Breakfast is also a treat here. A neighbor here told me to try the shrimp burger next time...that it is equally as impressive if not more. Indigo is an ABSOLUTE MUST if you visit Troncones or Majahua. Worth the trip from Ixtapa...and even...

Was absolutely blown away by this restaurant! What an amazing find. This authentic Argentinian food was on point. Amongst our group, we enjoyed the short rib special, ribeye, shrimp hamburger, and two different types of pizza for my daughters. The meal began with incredible service followed up by some homemade toasted bread and rolls with a chimichurri sauce. Only regret was not leaving room for dessert! The sangria was completely fresh and unique and flavor as well. Definitely a popular location as they were out of tables by about 7 pm. 11/10. The food was out of this world and was not overpriced either. They are a well oiled machine pumping out food, hand crafted drinks and keeping things moving. We went on a whim, and were blown away by the food. This place was usually packed so I should have expected the high quality but either make a reservation or go early enought to sit down and you won't be disappointed. We heard live music from the restaurant next door and it was fab. This place knows what they are doing. Think the trendy vibes of Tulum with the charm and chill of Troncones mixed. Please go and order the steak w/ chimichuri and sweet potatos/yams. Truly everything on the menu...
