I have many reasons to like ARENA restaurant. They don’t allow LOUD speakers. Why people will bring a loud speaker to the beach? The sound of the waves is better. What makes people believe that we all like the kind of music they are listening.? I totally support their policy of not bringing your drinks.Why? Because is a business! They need to make money, pay employees, pay taxes.

This is a formal business. I love the food, is just great! I do respect other people’s opinion about this restaurant, but as far as I can tell I will always support restaurants like this because they RESPECT their jobs. No one! Works for free. We came here to spend the day on the beach twice during our trip, and both times it was fantastic! You pay around 200 pesos to rent out two chairs for the day, right on the beach. While you lounge and relax, the waiters are very attentive and will bring you whatever you like from their menu. It feels very luxurious. They have beautiful birds at the restaurant and a crocodile near by that you can look at. Alex was our server both times and he was very nice and attentive! He watched our stuff for us while we went swimming and cut up the coconut from one of our drinks so we could eat it. Alex deserves a raise for all of his hard work! Arena is a short walk from our condo at Residencial Los Mangos and an occasional crocodile 🐊 and iguana is just a couple sites you’ll see on the way to this beach front restaurant.. Angel was our waiter he did a great job!!.. I started with the cream of mushroom soup which rivaled any recipe from a 5 star restaurant.. My entree was seared rare ahi tuna and it was cooked perfectly accompanied with sautéed zucchini, asparagus, grilled tomatoes and a beet mash..Easily in San Francisco this would be a $50.00 dinner..Beautiful flavors and presentation!!!..
