Rossy's — Restaurant in Guerrero

The margaritas, food and location were great, couldn't have been better. Then it came to paying. We paid the waiter and asked for our change (a sizable amount). We communicated this part clearly, that’s the last we saw of our waiter. After about 10 minutes of no waiter, no help coming by we went downstairs to find out where our waiter and money were. We were told by the manager/lead that he had gone to get change. 5 minutes later, when we asked again we were told the waiter thought that was his tip (30% tip) and had gone home and could not be contacted. We asked for the owner and were told they can’t contacted as they have no contact information since they 'only work there and basically it’s too bad the waiter took your money. This whole time the manager/lead pretended she did not speak English and we struggled through our limited spanish. When my wife and I both got flustered, she could understand English and was quite fluent in saying too bad, you need to leave.. The elderly cooks took it upon themselves to pay us the money that the waiter stole. We are disappointed by how the manager or lead on site knew about this yet took no responsibility, and let the working staff pay us out of their money. Great food and just shameful management. Great spot and always busy during season. Services might take a long while but plan ahead and order. Besides you're on beach time so food and drinks will come soon. BLT sandwiches before noon I believe are delicious. My favourite dish I always gotta have is my camerone ajillo. It's not spicy for me but the delicious pepper taste on my well cooked shrimp and rice is delicious. The only place I could find so far that does it delicious besides all the way out in the country side or in ixtapa. Fresh coconut infused with tequila is yummy and margaritas. I love my morning black tea here as well. It's a good place to hang with friends...

The food was very good and the staff work very hard despite being thin spread. I would have left a very positive review if not for the extremely rude women associated with the band that plays on Friday nights.
