OMG! This food menu, the service and the views were truly amazing. There are a lot of great restaurants with great service in Holbox but this one is pretty special. FYI - this restaurant is connected to the Villas Caracol resort, located almost at the end of the island, far from the hustle and sounds of down town area. The food portions were huge, check out the PIC of the monster shrimp sandwich on homemade bread! Delicious. Then the enchiladas stuffed with shredded chicken, I mean stuffed! Then smoothened in homemade salsa Verde, OMG again! Then the spinach and beet smoothies! Such great flavors! The avocado toast must have had 2 whole avocado's on it! Fresh as well! All this while sitting with a great view of the ocean! Priceless. The service was great, the food came quick and so did the drinks. We decided to stay at their beach club while we waiting for our plane, only two hours. We told them this and they waved the the all day fee for the beach chairs and they gave us complementary ride to the airport! Now that is service! Thank you for a great breakfast and service on our last morning/day at the beach! Lastly, we stayed at their sister hotel, Hotel Siesta, in town, very nice as well, no pool or beach front but the rooms are very nice and a lot cheaper, if you like being walking distance to town this is a great option and includes the breakfast I just wrote about.

This is probably my favorite spot in holbox to sit and enjoy a drink beachside. The drinks are maybe a little below average in cost but generally better than what you’ll find elsewhere in holbox, especially if you don’t enjoy overly sugary & sweet drinks with too much juice. The menu is quite large, offering a lot of food options. We stuck to seafood each time we visited and it was always fresh and prepared well. They also were kind enough to offer us empanadas on the house. Finally, the service is quite good, the atmosphere is nice, and they seem to also be open late when many other places are closed. I can’t review the hotel itself as I didn’t stay there, but if we were to return I would seriously consider the hotel here.

The breakfast and lunch menus are amazing. The burger was delicious from the bread to the carmalized onions (being some of the best I have ever had). The Lava cake takes a while to come out (they warn you), but it is WELL WORTH the wait. They also have an ice cream that is essentially infused with a liquor, and that was amazing, so smooth and flavorful. You can definitely taste the alcohol but the taste fits so perfectly in an ice cream form. The pancakes are very thick, topped with bacon. The frenchtoast is also very thick and is topped with fruit. Both of which are absolutely delectable. I absolutely loved all of the drinks I got from the bar alcoholic and not. My personal favorite was a strawberry smoothie.

Went for lunch and dinner. While lunch was pretty good with a great view, the dinner was pretty bad. They have a very small wine list yet managed to be out of the one we ordered. The burgers were awful with the sweetest bun I’ve ever had in my life, almost inedible. Chocolate volcano for dessert was missing the volcano part - no gooey middle, just over cooked and bland cake. We had to ask them to clear our dishes when most of the staff were standing around doing nothing. On complaining about the horrible dessert the waiter agreed it was bad and said he would get it taken off the bill (his suggestion, not mine, I wasn’t expecting it at all) but the manager said we had to pay in full and they also suggested we add 15% tip on top. All about the money and not about the service, very short sighted. My tip is to...
