Read moreI can’t speak more highly of Piedra Santa — off the beaten path on the back streets of town sits this sweet gem of a restaurant. If you are as lucky as we are we had a few moments where we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. Cesar the bartender was that and more!!! He was a cocktail artist with an incredible smile and warm and welcoming attitude. He is a craftsman! We started at the bar for a couple drinks and then moved to our table where Edwin our server took care of us the rest of the evening. Edwin was incredibly kind, and excited to share details of the menu and the place. He was an expert in terms of service and made sure that we were well taken care of from start to finish. The food was IMPECCABLE. And after each course they beautifully reset our table and prepared us for the next! We were lucky to share the restaurant with a 60th birthday group who brought a mariachi duo for some live entertainment. The night was absolutely magical. Couldn’t ask for...
Read moreThis place was a huge disappointment. My spouse and I were initially excited about the restaurant - deco, music and ambience were all wonderful upon arrival. Almost an hour passed before we received our order: two (cold) appetizers. 1- Burrata: a whole lot of lettuce with a half burrata, absolutely not worth it's price. 2- Beef tartar (raw meat) was brown rather than red, the waiter still maintained that it was fresh, though it was warm rather than a crisp cold temperature. And when we left our food almost untouched and explained our disappointment, the staff simply apologized and did not try to compensate us in any way. SAVE YOUR MONEY and eat at local eateries while in holbox. The only good food and value you will get is eating at stands or restaurants that cater to locals. Come here for...
