The first time I came to this restaurant the food and service was good. But today I had the worst experience, the place was empty and it was barely 5:30 and they close at 7, but that wasn’t the issue. The waiter had an attitude, he took a while to take our order when we finally started eating our table asked for more drinks “which he never brought” and completely ignored us and we had to ask a different waiter. At the end he didn’t bother to pick up our plates and was busy arranging empty tables. They had 4 tables with clients and 8 waiters but no one was keeping an eye on their customers. At the end I had to get up, ask for the receipt and pay, and as a bonus their terminal didn’t have signal and my family had to look for change. I understand it was a holiday and they wanted to leave early but that’s not the way to treat customers. The owner hired young waiters and needs to train them because they had no control.

I took a tour from Guadalajara to Lake Chapala. The tour operator brought us to this restaurant. The location was really nice on the waterfront. We placed our food and drink orders, then they took us on a 20 minute boat ride. When we returned, we will had to wait 15 more minutes for our drinks, and the food took about 30 minutes. My dish was forgotten, and I had to wait for another 15 minutes. My meal was delicious, but my companions all had something to complain about their meals. The one compliment I did hear from the others was that the fries were hot and delicious. The restaurant was severely understaffed, and the server really tried hard. With so many other restaurant options, if I ever return to the area, I'll never eat at this restaurant again.

We ordered Marlin for appetizers and Molcajete for a main course. The restaurant was empty with only about 3 tables of people. It took over an hour for the Marlin to come and it was just cool/cold tomato salsa with one little shard of marlin in the whole dish. We didn't eat any of it because were concerned about the dish not being cooked because of the temperature and the waiter didn't really care. It took him another 15 minutes to bring us the check. The views were gorgeous, but the food and service were extraordinarily bad.

Vuelvo...
