Placed on the banks of Chapala (almost its shore), passing Ajijic, with ample parking, Pros- Good service and excellent food, almost from a chef to your plate. Accepts card payment. Excellent view of the lake from almost any table. There are games for children. Meals are fresh and ingredients carefully selected. Portions more than enough. Desserts are also delicious. Cons- They open until 12 pm (so no breakfast possible). Service delays pretty much, so my recommendation is asking meantime some Quesadillas (3piece order) before main dish. It's not cheap, but the food is worth the money. Don't ask for deviled steak/fish, the sauce is made up with ketchup and chile de arbol, rest of dishes, pretty good. Well, out of all the places we have been exploring, this was the most tasteless food we had. Ordered 3 meals, got 2 of them, ordered a few entres and all was bland. But if you have young kids, this is a great place for them to play and eat.

There is very nice parking available, which is a nice change from parking on very narrow streets.

To pay, was very strange to me, walked very far from where we were eating, had to tell the waiter to back up (clearly looking for my pin) checked twice and they were starting right at the machine as I typed it, had to move around to block him, even then, he tried from the other side. Food was pretty good, some was great, some was so-so. The service was mostly attentive, but not necessarily sophisticated. We had to ask for things we needed and that gets tiresome when you are trying to enjoy the meal. The kids that were working there were obviously there to help, but they were too timid and untrained to be of any help and just got in the way. I don't like to see young kids smoking on the dining floor or on their cell phones when you are needing service.
