Previously My one star to the rude comment made by the service person of the place. He said we can not use the balcony side seat if we just want to enjoy the desert and coffee and this is not the first time I am visiting the place and is not the only coffee or the desert I was going to order. The place has a good lake side view but I did not expected a rude customer service I had been visiting this place since 2017 not had such encounters. For me There is not many vegetarian options. So I prefer to enjoy the desert here but it was rude to say you can not have the balcony seat if you only want to enjoy the desert.
Updates Edited: 4start for positive response by the owner of the place. (Will visit this place again after some time for a 5 star review ) I appreciate the kind response from the owner and his positive approach towards my review, and I gain trust in his words. I got the assurance that no one has to face such situation again. He is nice polite guy and I think everyone should get a chance to improve. Hope to visit this place again with...
Read moreIf you're coming for an afternoon drink and an appetizer, you likely can't beat the experience. But there's a chance you'll be disappointed for a dinner or an evening out. It's a shame that the food & value don't match the location and view. There was prompt and attentive service. My order was partially wrong, but I'll accept responsibility for trying to mix bad Spanish with my English. LOL I don't think anyone in our group of four had an enjoyable meal. I ordered a ribeye, which was definitely frozen, not fresh, very thin, and overcooked. My side Caesar salad barely had enough lettuce to cover the bottom of a 6-inch plate. The salmon was dry, and the whitefish arrived in the form of an 8" square - very weird, I didn't ask anything more about it to avoid my guest's embarrassment. Everything served was simply edible. For $1500 plus tip for two (yes, four glasses of wine included), I would prefer Bruno's...
Read moreWe moved to Ajijic from Savannah, GA about 6 weeks ago and we've been exploring the wonderful restaurants in the area. We enjoyed a delightful late lunch at 2 PM last Sunday. The manager and servers were all friendly and attentive. There is ample parking at the top of the hill, and the views of Lake Chapala are spectacular - in a covered outdoor setting. We started with cocktails - Whiskey on the rocks, and Sangria, followed by Queso Fundido con Chorizo with fresh, home made tortillas. We both had the Vacio (Angus Beef Steak) with sautéed vegetables and mashed potatoes for lunch, and had plenty to bring home with us. Sadie, our Corgi, was excited to see food containers, and thrilled that we shared a little of our Steak with her. Everything was delicious and the views truly are breathtaking. We look forward...
