EL TERRIBLE JUAN is a quaint coffee house serving home-style breakfasts and high-quality coffee. Our party of three tried the desayuno inglés and the chilaquiles and both were excellent. The English breakfast comes with fried potatoes doused in chimichurri sauce, which is a nice twist on an old favorite. The cinnamon rolls are generously drizzled with a cream-cheese frosting that is not overly sweet. Talk about comfort food. Would definitely go back. This location is somewhat on the small side, so be prepared to wait 10 to 15 minutes for a seat, or more on weekends. Espresso extraction was on point, perfectly froth milk and temperature. Ordered a cinnamon roll, liked the fact that it is not drenched in frosting.
