I love, love, love this place! I was working remotely from PV for a month and this gem of a cafe was only 3 blocks from the place we rented. I worked from here almost every weekday for a month and every day was a great experience. By the first week, they remembered my drink and quickly made it for me with my daily fresh plate of yummy fruit. They have strong WiFi signal and never had connectivity issues.
The Baristas, Jenny and Dulce, are excellent at their craft and are knowledgeable in all things coffee. Being from Seattle, we are so used to talking coffee, we were delighted to chat about it with someone here.
The food is also very good. We've had almost everything on the breakfast/lunch menu and everything was delicious and balanced. I especially love the panini selection. My favorite is the Tocino and Arrachera (Bacon and Skirt Steak). We never tried the dinner options, but they look good.
I'm so happy I found this place. It not only turned into my office away from my office, but also my go-to coffee shop in PV....

I live for excellent espresso macchiato’s and cappuccinos and struggled mightily to find any in PV until now. Though it can vary depending on the barista the offerings are almost always the real deal and not the typical too large, too milky, too foamy Starbuckian like abominations offered almost everywhere else in town. Macchiato means STAINED not swamped with milk and should be served in a 3 oz cup not a water bottle sized vessel. Café Por Favor understands this. As for the food, it’s delightful and has a variety of traditional and American style offerings. The staff are excellent and the service pace relaxed. This is not a place you come for a quick bite on your way to the airport. You will Miss your flight! Try it. It’s tucked away, but...
Read moreWhat a lovely cafe! I had a delicious matcha and my husband had a mocha capuccino. We both had amazing cinnamon rolls with walnuts. There are 3-4 tables outside and more inside. Our waiter, Alonzo, spoke great English, as well as Spanish. Inside you will find a clean washroom. They close early in the afternoon but they do serve breakfast and lunch as well as smoothies, teas, and other specialty drinks. Our server was very polite, efficient and friendly. There is a water bowl for dogs outside. We will be going...
