Alondra, Eloy and their son Eloy were very friendly and kind to us as brand new Spanglish speaking customers. We discovered Mariscos Eloy searching on Google for a local eatery with pescado (fish) and read their 5 Star Reviews. I was happy with my large (grande) bowl of Camaron y Pulpo Cocktele (Shrimp and Octopus Cocktail) Mexican Style with chopped onions, cucumbers, cilantro and avocado served cold (my choice) in clamato juice with a basket of fresh grilled slices of garlic bread and a selection of hot sauces. My friend enjoyed Camaron Burrita, a grilled Shrimp Burrito filled with sliced lettuce. We loved the taste of their Aguafresca made with sliced pineapple ends, sliced peeled cucumbers, and a sprig of mint leaves soaking in fresh water with ice cubes that was so refreshing and delicious that I want to make my own when I get home to California! Fresh off the plate and straight to the review — because waiting wasn’t an option. Mariscos Eloy in Lázaro Cárdenas just served us one of the freshest, most flavorful seafood meals I’ve had in a long time. We devoured four perfectly cooked fish and shrimp tacos, and shared a chilled shrimp cocktail that honestly deserves a spot in the shrimp cocktail hall of fame. It was seasoned just right, with shrimp so fresh they probably clocked out of the ocean this morning.

The vibe? Pure local charm — friendly, warm, and full of smiles. The woman who took care of us was kind, super attentive and knew her menu inside out. Her English is great so you know what you're getting.

We came to Puerto Vallarta looking for amazing food, and we found it! We had the seafood burrito, shrimp taco, seafood salad and mixed ceviche. Every dish was perfect!
