Cute little cafe tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. It’s quite easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. I was going on an afternoon walk just to explore the neighborhood and stopped by this spot when I saw people sitting outside sipping on some frappes. I already had enough coffee for the day so I opted for a tisana (floral fruity tea) instead. I had the kiwi/strawberry one and it was delicious!! For a medium, it’s 50 pesos--pricier than an agua fresca, but still within reason. It was worth it though! I took it to go and since I couldn’t finish it, I stuck it in the fridge. The next day, it was more concentrated (because it had soaked even more overnight so I diluted it with some water and ice). You can literally add another cup or two of water to it and it’ll taste just as amazing. They also have some pastry items, salads, and paninis if you are feeling snacky or hungry! Tuve un problema al tomar una curva lenta en una carretera y perdí el equilibrio, y mi moto me cayó encima. Así que aquí estoy. Mi pierna izquierda, en la espinilla, tiene una roncha de unos 10 cm de diámetro que sobresalía unos 1,25 cm. Un corte en el codo y otro en la pierna izquierda. Algo que me salvó los brazos fue llevar una camisa de manga larga. Así que fui a una cafetería que conocía de cuando me alojé en el hotel en enero. La recuerdo porque solía desayunar allí. Se llama Mangatta. Pensé que sería un buen lugar para comprar hielo para bajar la hinchazón. Pedí un expreso y pedí el hielo; tenía una bolsa para llevar, así que la llené de hielo. El dueño sacó su botiquín de primeros auxilios. Fue un salvavidas. Gasa con alcohol, esparadrapo, todo el material. Su mujer usó el esparadrapo para mantener el hielo en mi espinilla. Me senté con la pierna elevada, tomé no uno, sino dos espressos, saqué mi última tirita para el codo y usé gasa y esparadrapo para el corte de mi pierna.
