Escarabajo Scratch — Restaurant in Jalisco

I wish I could give a better review, but the food was kind of awful. I had the classic burger, which looks good. It came with really wet fried onions that didn't have their crunch and wouldn't come apart in your mouth. The burger itself was super sallty. The service was pretty bad. I didn't get silverware or napkins. The table was not even fully cleaned off. The plate is too small for the food, which creates this weird problem when you're trying not to spill all over the table.

After years of going to this shady place where managers and bartenders suck. My little sister wanted to see the bar because she was underage when I used to go but big surprise we had with the also shady security when we tried to get in, they made us toss our water bottle and after we came back from drinking it because who the heck waste water right? They told me: the girl can’t get in, she’s too wasted already, when she didn’t drank at all, only because she has a problem with her leg. I’m never coming back...

Era de mis lugares favoritos, tenía años yendo al Escarabajo, pero me ha decepcionado muchísimo.

Esta última vez que fui, fue la peor de todas, fui con mi novio y se tardaron más de una hora en llevarnos un simple vaso con agua, y ni siquiera nos dieron hielos (estaba al tiempo), PÉSIMO; de la comida y las chelas, ni hablar, se tardaron aún más.

No entiendo por qué desde el inicio no nos dijeron que se iban a demorar con los pedidos (cómo lo hacen en otros lugares para que así tomes tu decisión y esperes si así lo deseas), neta se pasaron horrible.

Supuestamente para agilizar el proceso nos iban a llevar una pizza que ya estaba lista, obvio no era la que habíamos pedido, pero dijimos “bueno, está bien porque ya tenemos hambre”, pero hasta en eso se tardaron casi media horaaaaaaa, cuando supuestamente ya estaba “lista” 🙃

Al mesero se le olvidó como dos veces nuestro pedido, al inicio también tuvimos que hablarle porque nadie se acercaba a la mesa para levantar nuestra orden. HORRIBLE. Y todavía al final nos dice el mesero que si le íbamos a dejar propina, ¿es en serio? 🫠
