Ouch. This place seems like it prefers paper or rocks. The place really likes paper, considering that the hotel has paper thin doors and walls that let you hear all the little kids running and yelling down the hall at 10 PM, making you unable to sleep. Then there's the paper thin bedsheets that barely do anything to keep you warm. Then, I feel like the hotel likes rocks, seeing as the pillows are extreamly hard, making it difficult to lay down on and sink into for a nights rest - my mother had to create a makeshift pillow by folding a towel from the bathroom, because that was more preferable than sleeping on the pillows they provide. And then there's the rock hard mattresses that feel less like a bed and more like a springy wooden plank. And above that, the bed frame holding the mattress felt old and sensitive, as every time you even scoot to the side on the mattress, you'd hear a loud creaking or cracking noise that catches the attention of everyone in the room, which is bad news if you're trying to sleep with your family that constantly wakes everyone up. And some minor complaints include the fact that there isn't really any hot water in the morning. You have to turn up the water temperature dial in the shower to the maximum if you want a hint of heat in the water you're bathing in before 9 AM. There's also the problem of no refrigerator, so we can't store any food for tomorrow safely and just hope that the soggy chicken we bought last night isn't bad by the morning for breakfast. The things I like about the place is the cool little fake window that you can turn on, which I added as a photo. Plus the location is good, since traveling to points of interest is very convenient, usually within a 15 minute walk from the hotel

The hotel and staff are wonderful. I can not say anything bad about the place except that. I travel world wide and most hotels I stay at I hate to leave when it's check out time. The staff makes you feel like you are home.I do not get that feeling at this hotel. I believe the staff should cater more to the guest and not worry so much about the establishment. Maybe it's me but I am on a 15 country Caribbean vacation and stay a week in a different hotel everywhere. I have been in this area of Guadalajara many times and have seen this hotel and finally decided to stay at it. But this will be my first and last time. I simply do not like the feeling that the staff is watching y I urge every move. Maybe it's me but the hotel is 5 stars all the way.

Our room was immaculate, and the view was amazing, we did pay a little more for the view and it was worth it. The Wifi was fast, and the showers hot. The room was cleaned perfectly daily, they have a system where the cleaning staff know when you are in your room, so they don’t come. When you walk in you room you put your keycard in a slot to get the power for the room, which helps cut down on electricity. When the cars is in the slot there is a small light that glows so they know you are in there and will not knock for services. The staff is amazing and very accommodating with any requests. Just be aware that the restaurant closes early, but with all the food delivery services you can still get food delivered.

My stay was impacted by a theft incident. Despite clear communication with the housekeeper & placing a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, our room was entered, & $100 was stolen from my purse during our 1st day. Upon return from a quick errand, we were startled to find our room door open & the housekeeper in our room. She said “they told me you requested a blanket. I knocked & you didn’t answer.” At the moment, we thought it was a simple error & she got the rooms confused.

We left our hotel again to exchange money. As I took out my bills to exchange currencies, I discovered that a $100 bill was missing from my purse. This is when we booked a new hotel, & left our current booking at Hotel Dali.

While management addressed the issue & confirmed our account with security footage, their resolution was unprofessional. They held the housekeeper accountable for the theft, requiring her to return the money from her personal bank account. This decision seemed like an act of public embarrassment, but the process of retrieving the money from the housekeeper's account took an unreasonably long time, & further added to the frustration of the situation.

While I appreciate their efforts, I can’t overlook their resolution process. While the hotel's management addressed the theft & Expedia returned my money, the experience left me with disappointment & frustration, overshadowing the positive aspects of my stay. We completely wasted a day during our trip, & added an...

We specifically chose this hotel because we read the stellar reviews recently posted. I am currently staying here tonight. One of the reasons we decided on this place was because they assured us that they could provide my family with a mini fridge for our room. I called to double check a few days before arriving and was assured this would not be an issue. Fast forward to this evening at check in... We spoke to the hotel front desk person and they said they could not accommodate my family. After explaining that I was assured it would not be an issue from a manager we were still not granted our request. Not only were they not going to give us a fridge, when we asked where we could get ice to chill our kids meds, snacks and other items they happily said they could bring it to the room for an additional cost. Seriously...I’ve never stayed at a hotel where they CHARGE FOR ICE! Either that or we would have to upgrade to a suite that has a mini fridge in it. There weren’t any apologies on their behalf or attempts to help us. Needless to say we taken aback by the horrible customer service. I will update this review if a...
