Jaiba Cajuncrab Plaza Picacho — Restaurant in Jalisco

I was craving Boiling Crab (arguably the best cajun seafood in the bag restaurant in the United States) and luckily my husband found Jaiba Crab. Wow. I'm seriously impressed. The sauces are a bit different but in my opinion, just as good as Boiling Crab's. I got 1/2 kg shrimp with the original recipe sauce alto picante, and they include boiled potatoes and corn. I ate everything except the potatoes, so it was the perfect amount. It wasn't too spicy either. I only wish they served arroz - it would be perfect with the leftover sauce. Can't wait...

Wasn't packed when we showed up.. got greeted by an employee an asks us if we wanted to dine inside or outside... waitress took our order and never came back to check on us. I ask for the spiciest shrimp they have but I got bland spicy shrimp not even with a kick...our original waitress was to busy picking her nose an being on her phone. We had to bother the other waitress for more drink refills an extra sides an the bill..

The kids nuggets are good and onion rings

Maybe add some steam rice and sausages to the menu

They lack...

It was really good, definitely recommend it!! We ordered a kg of jaiba crab mix which was perfect for 2 people (who eat good hehe) even though they mentioned it was for 4 people. It can get crowded so i strongly recommend to call ahead and make a reservation to avoid waiting too long. Also, each order only has 1 crab which to me is not enough.
