We were looking for something local with fresh seafood. We called ahead for reservations. On arrival we were welcomed by Tony Castillo. He guided us to our table, which was already setup for us (in Puerto Vallarta and off the beaten path). He shared the specials of the evening, suggested a starter shot which I enjoyed, spicy with fresh octopus. We ordered guacamole for a start and entrees, Coco Cameron, Ceviche el Cameron, and The Toro Filet. Each of the Cameron dishes were perfectly prepared and exceeded my dinner companions expectations. I was visiting with my family. We had an amazing experience at Juan Tiburon. First of all the seafood is fresh, no worries about getting sick. The ceviche, agua chile and grilled octopus was so delicious. I recommend you getting a seafood salad when you get there, with the tostadas it feeds everyone in your table. We were 6, we each ordered a dish and we're so full and satisfied. Returned this year (25) the dinner wasn't so remarkable anymore. The bucket of cracker & tostadas is now a bucket with the garlic bread that used to be on your plate. The already small rice portion is now half of what it was. A lemonade is now $60m it's not really worth it. Great shrimp. The regular shrimp you get about 20 in the order.
