Azul Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Jalisco

This is the best restaurant I’ve tried in Puerto Vallarta, both in terms of taste and service. I highly recommend it, especially if you have kids. There’s a separate kids’ zone with its own air conditioning, and it’s separated by a door from the main dining area, so even if your child gets a bit noisy, it’s not a big issue. The kids’ zone is equipped with toys and coloring supplies, so children can comfortably wait until the food arrives. The food is incredibly fresh. The cocktails are beautifully presented and well-made. The grilled octopus was perfectly tender and infused with the sauce, pairing excellently with the shell-shaped pasta on the side. The beef tongue tacos were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the combination of the sauce with the tacos was fantastic. The mussel sauce had a tangy yet deep flavor, and it was delicious even when dipped with the crackers on the side. For dessert, I had the Ferrero ice cream, which had a rich flavor as if Ferrero Rocher chocolates were ground into it. This was by far the best restaurant I tried during this trip. Please avoid this place worst experience ever . The food it’s not even authentic Mexican seafood . The description of the items on the menu it’s not even accurate of what they really serve it’s like sushi want to be Mexican seafood doesn’t even make sense . Place it’s so small and tables they’re so close from each other . When I was about to pay the check they don’t take debit or credit cards and they exchange rate it’s so low ( for their own convenience of course ) . Worst part is that they don’t even have a sign at the entrance to let you know that they only take cash or you need to transfer money . That place it’s a complete rip off . How was the food? The food was good, not bad and not great. Overall slightly above average…

How was the service? Service was good, we did notice they suggest for you to try the most expensive plates several times. Which was a turn off.

Atmosphere ? Average… I do think the prices are 25% higher than another seafood place.

“They don’t accept Credit Cards” which was also a big turn off, bc it’s a restaurant?!
