L'Osteria del Duomo — Restaurant in Jalisco

Honestly, one of the better dining experiences I have had in a while. The drinks were varied and came in sizable glasses. Moreover, the drinks were not as expensive as other places near Andares. The food was excellent. I had some piemontese raviolis although I ended up eating off of the Truffle raviolis my family ordered. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed raviolis that much. The pizza was also some of the best in Guadalajara, easily in my top 10 overall (we had pepperoni with italian sausage). The service was a bit slow as the food took a little over half an hour to arrive and I will say a positive thing about service: they waited until we finished our oysters to bring us our food; as few restaurants understand that entrées are before the main course. The desdert was also a delight. We had an apple strudel and a hazelnut cake (it tasted exactly like ferrero rocher). The atmosphere is warm-coloured and the place is clean. All-in-all, its rare for me to say that I "feel good" after eating out, but I definitely had that...

We had dinner here today, everything was amazing! The food, ambiance, music, service, view.... I’m leaving this review for two reasons: I love this place and will definitely be coming back I embarrassed myself in front of who I think was the owner. I was a bit confused and startled and said something that might have been perceived as a negative remark. Sir, the space is well distributed; every corner of your restaurant is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. My sisters, my mom and I enjoyed every dish and the remarkable service. Al proncipio se ve un lugar agradable. Pedimos calamari frito c9mobrntrada, y Fudili 4 quesos ademas de Ravioli Tartufo.

#1 Calamares presentados rusticamente solo con limón y una pequeña salsa de mayonesa. Ni diwuiwra,la tradicional marinada. Los calamares,estaban secos. El plato licia triste.

#2 EL PLATO ESTRELLA, Ravioli Tartufo. Daba lastima. Un plato gigante xon 5 raviolis en jugo. Todos marchitos y secos y pocos chempiñones dentro. Estaban planos!!!

#3 Para el Fusili 4 quesos pedí agregarán proteina...Pollo. El mesero, un señor ya mayor de edad como en sus 50's, regreso y me dijo que no tenían pollo. Qué si gustaba pollo tenia que ordenar un pollo entero por $400 MXN. Ridiculo. Le pedi qué lo olvidara.

#4 Mi esposa pidió una sangría. Se la dieron en un vaso como para ahua. Nada de decoración. Ni siquiera una hijita de menta. Muy básico.

Mi bebida tampoco tenía nada de de oración.

#5 El servicio pésimo. No re ofendernos ningun plato. Nos re ibio un mesero joven y dl fi dl nos at3nfio otro fifeeente y con pésima actitud. Tan mal que cuando pedimos ensaladas nos dijo que mejor no pidieras porque eran muy chicas y no vallan la pena.

#6 Era cumpleaños de mi esposa y se les olvidó ofrecer postre. Fue un desastre. Nos hubiéramos quedado mas tiempo y tomado mas bebidas, pero la verdad nuestro mesero se veía enfadado y cansado y también se quería...
