I overwhelmingly cherish my experiences here! My family and I visited here several times within a week and every visit exceeded our expectations. Ephraim is very diligent and made sure that we were seated within seconds of our arrival. We were warmly greeted at the door and felt very welcome during every visit. He is very attentive and made sure all of our needs were met during our visit. He made excellent food and wine pairing recommendations. He also made us an excellent table side Ceasar salad that rivals the best I ever had. He leads his staff well and speaks excellent English. The environment is very clean and they take covid measures very seriously. Sergio was an excellent waiter who timed our refills well and made sure we were well served . The decor teleports you to 16th century Italy in its elegance and craftsmanship. We couldn’t stop admiring the ambiance, decorations and furniture. The food is on par with the excellent hospitality and environment. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. I’ve had , Fusiilli Alla Parmagiana pasta, veal, salmon, rib eye and the Caprese salad and various deserts during my visits and they were all consistently good from start to finish. This is a great place for romantic outings, family and business meetings. As someone who is a self proclaimed foodie and connoisseur of world class experiences - I highly recommend this restaurant. Salutations to Ephraim and his wonderful staff. We cannot wait to relocate to Guadalajara this summer so we can frequently patronize this establishment. Thanks for upholding high standards in spite of the pandemic. You have loyal guests in us....
Read moreMouth-watering. I loved it here. I’m giving it 4 stars only because my dish was served a little after it had cooled, but that was literally my ONLY complaint (well besides the high for Latin America pricing). I think they were waiting for my friends dish because it was piping hot.
Anyway, great atmosphere, friendly service (although I still don’t get why they never tell you their name in Mexico), and best of all—the taste!!
We had the zucchini carpaccio which was boring until we added the vinegar, then it was awesome.
I had the expensive dish, Tagliata de Manzo. Basically steak with a white sauce. Wondrous taste. I give it a 9.5 out of 10. Had it been served hot instead of fairly warm, I would have given a 9.9. Cost about $20 USD.
My friend had the fusilli with chicken and bacon and it was beyond divine. Cost about $13 USD so much more reasonable.
Honestly the tastes were so good I got chills of delight a few times. Even the vegetables on the side of my dish were great.
I would certainly go back.
Not cheap, but nothing in Mexico is anymore. Plan to spend about $40-$50 USD per person for a grand dining experience if you get appetizer and a drink or two. It’s a shame you can’t have delicious food anymore anywhere affordable. But alas, it is what it is. When you’re ready to pay near-US prices with a weak dollar dropping by the day, go here for...
Read moreAwesome place! For locals it might not seem as inexpensive. IMO the value for the experience is amazing. The place is inviting perfect lighting and comfortable seats or high chairs. High chairs are the bar but in reality is a big common table next to the bar which makes it awesome to meet ppl. There is a back area that is amazing too. Front area is very cool too. Staff is quick professional and caring. Note personal pizzas are actually a full on topping slice. Otuer plates in portions were awesome but the slice of great pizza is for under $2 when converted so I thought the value is amazing. House malbec glass goes for less than $3. If I lived there they would see me every week. Flavors and playing are great and even better are the variety of many things in the menu. For dessert try the...
