This is a glorified attempt at a Churrascaria, a very sad version of Mr. Pampas. We went to dine Sunday evening. There wasn't a single person eating there even though it was only 7:30. Buffet had very limited options and everything was covered in plastic (I assume there have been no other customers for hours?) As for the meat, it was nothing special, I would say a few items we good and the rest plain. There isn't a single dessert included in the buffet. Don't bother ordering one at 139 pesos extra. The big shock came when the bill arrived. 1000 pesos for two people for a small salad bar and some meat. That's insane. In comparison, Mr. Pampas costs less than 400 pesos per person and actually includes a real buffet of food and many more meats... There was no price mentioned upon seating, ordering, or posted anywhere in the building. Upon leaving, we saw the price cards we all put away, yet there should be on on every table? We are big fans of Mr. Pampas, a chain of churrascaria restaurants with several locations in Mexico. I hope one day they open a location in Puerto Vallarta, because this place is really a let down, there is...
Read moreUnfortunately, we didn’t give attention to the bad reviews and went there tonight (Feb 06, 2024) for dinner at 5pm. I am Brazilian, and that’s NOT a Brazilian bbq at all, they don’t have our basics: white rice, beans, farofa ad. Vinaigrette. The buffet is poor, bad look and really no taste at all! Meat from “20 espadas” just don’t exist, they served 3 different beef cuts, 3 terrible sausages, shrimp (the ONLY really good), a not enough cooked chicken and pineapple. Oh! And a weird “garlic bread” … Doesn’t worth the visit at all… Beverages carta have a crazy prices (to force you to go for the Rio package). And the cherry on the top is.. no English. The only really attention guy with us was the guy who serves the meet, and probably the kitchen people, but they are really overwhelmed and can’t save all. The place needs a urgent care of products and services! NOT a Brazilian bbq! 😡
I didn’t take pictures, since we started, all we want...
Read moreGreat place. But one waiter here needs a massive attitude adjustment. After being served a crusty old dry piece of piccana, we asked for medio rojo. The guy got very aggressive and started to attack a woman at the table, asking what is medio rojo for you? So if you are going, take you own meat thermometer, only to stick it to this guy :)
It’s a shame that one rotten egg, destroys all the great efforts of everyone else here… in contrast, Stephanie and Sergio provided such great service. Thank you
Amazing that many people have complained about this problem and the owner has not done anything about it. So the problem is definitely with the owner/captain who responds to all reviews but takes no action.
Don’t visit till they fix the rotten egg issue. Rotten eggs will define give you an...
