Lots of potential, but there are a few things that really bring down the enjoyment of the experience. Overall, the food we've had here has tasted quite good, but not quite to the level that I would expect in terms of seasoning and the finer details considering the relatively higher price point.
The good: -Very nicely decorated and the dining area outside has great lighting. -Food has beautiful presentation, and all the serving ware (plates, etc.) is unique and makes the meals look very appealing. -Good variety in menu choices, and overall our meals there have tasted good
The bad: -By far our biggest gripe with this restaurant is the music that is played in the dining area. First of all, it is far too loud. Even though the restaurant is outside and there aren't any echo issues, our small table had to almost yell to be heard, and it seemed like a few of the waiters had hoarse voices from having to shout all day long over the music.
The music also does not fit the "classy" vibe of the restaurant at all. It was a mix of old music videos ranging from classic rock to sad-sounding emotional songs, and the corresponding videos playing on the overhead TVs were very distracting and made us feel more like we were in a sports bar rather than a nice restaurant. The overly loud music creates a stressful environment, and background music that fits the restaurant vibe better (or at least turning the volume down) would be a major upgrade in my opinion.
-Service wasn't too bad, but we felt that at times it felt like the waiters...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of dining at this delightful Italian restaurant with our entire family, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who provided excellent service throughout the evening.
To start, we indulged in some of the most delicious starters we've ever had. The bruschetta was fresh and flavorful, and the bread was simply delicious .
When it came time for the main course, we were blown away by the quality of the pizzas and pastas. The pizzas were cooked to perfection with a thin, crispy crust and a wonderful variety of toppings. The pastas were rich and flavorful, and it was evident that they were made with care and expertise.
As if that wasn't enough, we topped off our meal with some truly wonderful desserts. meal.
Throughout our evening, the staff provided attentive and friendly service, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and we felt like we were part of the family.
We were pleasantly surprised by the great value of our meal, considering the high quality of the food and service. We left with full and happy hearts, and we can't wait to return. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience....
Read moreThe food was very good tasting. However, the waiter(?owner) mentioned at least 3 times that the previous owner of the restaurant site had left the building in shambles(I will not say the details he shared),and they had extensively cleaned it up. This is information that I as a tourist did not need to know. Then he told me that they were the only ones in the Marina area that made pizza correctly, and actually mentioned the resort I was staying at was cooking unsatisfactory pizza. That is a lie his restaurant was better as my resort's pizza was delicious, but I had not ordered pizza to compare. When I was done eating, as well as drinking what was in front of me, he took all the dishes away, did not offer me anything else. I waited about 15 minutes and he returned to tell me that in Mexico, you MUST ask for the bill. He said I must be Canadian as I did not ask. I am not sure if that is a compliment. Anyhow, his parting words to me were that this restaurant had the best food in the Marina. I shrugged my shoulders instead of telling him absolutely not. On future trips I will not return to this restaurant only because of this person. It is priced fair for the quality, but definitely was not the best meal that I ate in the PV Marina area. I was here...
