La Terraza de Don Chuy — Restaurant in Jalisco

I live very close to this restaurant two blocks away. So as you can imagine, I was very excited to try it in the last year. I’ve gone three times. Every time I’ve gone the service was very slow, the food came out cold. However, my last visit Took the cake after asking to use the bathroom. I was informed the bathroom was being cleaned. Once I was allowed to use the bathroom the girl who is cleaning it came out and when I was finished, she still hasn’t washed her hands from cleaning the bathroom and was serving my food , I told them to give me my bill and I was leaving the owner, got angry and confronted me yelling at me. He couldn’t fix it if I didn’t tell him what the problem was when I told him the problem, he just told me to never come back I can assure you that is not a big ask,. I will never go back there if it is the last restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. Slow on train staff a Kitchen that doesn’t know how to prepare food in a manner. Shrimp pasta was really good and a large portion. The fried shrimp was good too but the shrimp pasta was better. Salad and bread and rice comes with the fried shrimp. We took home left overs there was so much food. We were the only ones there and it took a while to get the food but it was worth it. Also the best lemonade I've had thus far...

El lugar no es grande, de entrada nos comentaron que el servicio tardaría media hora porque tenían una mesa grande por atender, lo cual no había problema porque no íbamos muriendo de hambre. Iba con altas expectativas por los comentarios y por las fotos. Las tostadas estaban buenas, pero si les falta un poquito más de sabor, cómo un poco más de sal (a la tostada la famosa) e Integrar un poco más los sabores en la tostada de pulpo adobado ( no recuerdo el nombre de la tostada). La torre cumplió la expectativa en cuanto a presentación, decía que tenía callo, sin embargo no le pusieron callo, a mí parecer y por el precio, debió haber ido servida como lo dice en el menú. Sin embargo, estaba muy bien servida, fácil para 2 personas. La atención fue buena, si tuvimos que pedir algo dos veces porque no lo traían, pero en general fue buena y fueron amables.
