Overall why 5 stars: the food is great the options are numerous and they all have spectacular flavors

Service: overall good service unfortunately a few staff were very expressive and didn't bother hiding it when they don't approve of something, when asked about something in particular one of the waiters walked away saying some comment expressing no interest in helping out with the request (not a big deal but there are ways of communicating things and this wasn't the best way for them to have handled it, a bit unprofessional since we were rude or disrespectful)

Atmosphere: it's a clean, decent restaurant, you'll not be unhappy with the atmosphere here at all

Suggestions: food is great, give it a chance be very clear with your communication when dealing with staff bacon is not the best, it's too cooked to the point of no real flavor (all plates with bacon were the same so maybe let them know how you want your bacon and hopefully they are willing to accommodate your request) pancakes are...

This location, is a classic large 2 story Mexican restaurant. Open for Breakfast and lunch. Big servings. Super clean. Open air. Sometimes very crowded with middle class locals having business or family breakfasts or lunch. Very large menu of Mexican breakfasts and egg dishes. I love the jocoque, a soft creamy sour cream they serve. Big orders of very good chiliquiles prepared with many options. You will leave very full! Well priced. Los Alcatraces is one of my favorite breakfast places in Puerto Vallarta. It's a large restaurant that fills up quickly, so get there early or be prepared to wait!

A large menu offers tons of great options like mexican favorites such as chilaquiles or menudo and regular staples like omelets and pancakes.

If you sit upstairs you have a view of the mountains which are breathtaking in the summer when they're bright green.

The prices are great and the food is delicious!
