Well, I VERY seldom write reviews. But, this I feel implored to write. We LOVED Florios - IN THE PAST. It was a quaint, informal restaurant serving high-end/expensive food. The service was always great. The waitstaff greeted, talked, knew about the restaurant and the food, and actually sold / recommended foods on the menu. We've been there numerous times spending in excess of $300 for a dinner for two, and leaving very pleased and satisfied. WELL, we went to the new Florios tonight. Wow! It sucked. We were greeted a bit strangely and seated on time. But, no one approached the table to serve water or say hi. No one. We opened one of the water bottles ourselves and poured ourselves a couple glasses. Finally, after leaning back to say "hello" to the waiter, he approached. No welcome. No info. Just an order-taker. We asked him about the cocktails, and he was clueless. He laterally didn't know the type of booze in the handful of house cocktails. My date ordered a drink off the menu and I asked him to ask the bartender to make me anything with tequila. Eventually, the waiter came back, and we asked him for some bread that was on every table. He told us "it's coming". We've been there now for about 15 minutes. We ordered a salad to get things going. 15 minutes later the salad came with some bread (30 min in), but the drinks hadn't been served yet. We both wanted to have drinks BEFORE (and during) dinner. Finally, 30 min after ordering, two cocktails came out with a shot of tequila as a comp. Argg. We had ate all our bread by then, and had asked the odd hostess for more as she came by our table (NOT the waiter). The hostess said "sure", but no bread came for over 10 minutes when we asked again. The bread basked was literally 4 steps from out table. I guess the hostess whispered in her communication system (yes, I said "communication system" ...which seemed like a joke) for someone else to do something she could have easily done herself to serve the customer. We ate our salad, and my date asked to see a menu again. You'd think the waiter would notice his table finishing their drinks and salad, and want to see if they wanted more drink or to order other appetizers or entrees. No suck luck. The waiter wasn't around. Oh, he was there trying to look like he was doing something, but definitely not taking care of his tables. I think the hostess and him were trained at the same place!. More bread finally came to the table, and the waiter finally came back to take our order (to TAKE an order, not to SELL food and provide a service experience). We told him we were done. Didn't even get to order the $2500 Peso Steak (that's $125 ... for a steak). We were going to have a great night, pig out, get drunk, and have fun. Instead, we got nothing but irritated with Florios' horrible service. DEFINATELY, not...

Read moreThis is a great spot to dine at if you're getting tired of tacos and burritos. They offer indoor and outdoor dining.
The food is Argentinian in origin and taken to the next level in quality, preparation and flavors.
The sausage sandwich appetizer was our favorite. I've never tried sweatbreads(pancreas) before and they were delicious. The meat is grilled out on the street on their charcoal grill while you relax and enjoy the atmosphere and wonderful smells wafting through the air.
Seriously, the sausage sandwich appetizer is insanely good. They bake the bread fresh while the links are roasting on the grill. Homemade Argentinian sausage grilled and served on fresh baked bread? How can you not order this?
$22 for a hefty portion of filet mignon grilled right in front of you and served with 2 sides is a tremendous value.
The waitstaff are all very welcoming and friendly and will do whatever it takes to make sure you're satisfied. You cannot go wrong by having...
