As close to perfection as it gets. The salmon eggs Benedict set the bar high for any eggs Benedict in the future. The pancakes live up to the hype, as does the roast beef sandwich. The coffee comes hot (yes that matters), and the staff are attentive and seem genuinely happy to be working there. Smiles go a long way. The juices are fresh with a little twist that sets them apart from your typical offerings. Finally…. Pastries…a word of caution. These are enormous. Their size matched by their flavor. Impossible to try them all so you will have to make a return trip, or trips. One more thing is parking in the area is scarce but you will be thankful for the walk after...

Muchas ganas de venir a visitar Nerium por tantos reel y recomendaciones de los 'influencers' de ig, en fin de semana imposible porque la espera es eterna y el lugar es pequeño, así que fui en lunes.

El lugar aunque pequeño bastante coqueto, parte dentro y parte terraza, el servicio excelente desde la entrada. No hay menus físicos así que pues a usar el qr de tu cel o te prestan una tableta por si acaso tu teléfono no agarra el qr. El menú en si no es muy grande pero si es muy diversos, con combinaciones y presentaciones MUY interesantes, platillos con huevo, chilaquiles, entrepanes y hot cakes 🥞 que están ENORMES, no los pedí, solo los vi pasar.

Nuestra orden fueron, sandwiches Montecristo y huevos benedictinos. Los Montecristo servidos con una ensalada que le da frescura al plato y el sándwich con poca proteína, cosa que vi en la imagen así que me ordene un huevo estrellado como extra. De precio un poco elevado para lo que es.

Los benedictinos perfectamente servidos en su termino, de presentación exquisita y de sabor muy balanceado. El Cafe de muy buena calidad, y capuchinos deliciosos y cremosos. El pan, que es uno de los estandartes de Nerium, conocí un cuadro de hojaldre relleno y topping de pistache, de buen crunch y de sabor un poco empalagoso lo que opacaba el sabor del pistache, que si bien a paladares golosos les encantará por lo dulce. Lo mismo con un New York que están de moda en muchos lugares, de buen laminado, mucho sabor a mantequilla y en este caso la ausencia excesiva de relleno me gustó, porque si permitió apreciar el sabor del pan y nueces.

En general es un lugar muy recomendable con muchos platillos tradicionales, que no son tan exóticos como uno esperaría por el nombre pero que están bien logrados. Por supuesto que regresaré entre semana en algún...
