This is something that has been happening for some time and is very disheartening. Me and my husband have been regular guests at this restaurant for a year, but will probably never go back again due to the errors that occurred last four times we had dinner and lunch. The servers are good but when it comes to the moment we need to pay, first time a flaw happened was that we were not given the right change back. To be precise, we were almost 100 pesos short. Not to mention that we waited for 20 minutes to get the change and eventually had to go to the register to finally get the receipt and change. Second time, there was the same thing. Waiting for the change and getting it wrong. And today again. I didn't get my change, just 20 pesos out of a total of 80... We are nice people and always reward good service with anywhere between 15-25% but this kind of service doesn't deserve a tip. It deserves to skip this place entirely. Very, very, very...
Read moreI want to love this restaurant. It has delicious warm pastries and a great cappuccino. Even the food we had for breakfast had pretty good flavor. However, here's the bad: our server was not good and seemed disorganized. Took her 20 minutes to take our order. The food, which took quite some time, came out barely luke warm at best. Looked like it had been sitting in the window for a bit. The arrachera was undercooked. The norteno sauce was cold over the omelet. To top that off they didn't have much for cake slice selection (they're a bakery as well). Asked for a slice of German chocolate cake and our server brought chocolate. The bill was more than it should have been, because our servers math was terrible. We couldn't use international credit cards, but if you were local you could. Exchange rate for cash was not great. The manager asked how everything went and I mentioned our food was cold. She shrugged her...
Read moreThe food is ok. The drinks are pretty good. The space is fantastic, especially if you have kids and especially especially if you and your kids are native English speakers. They've got a bouncy castle and small playground outside and another play area indoors, close enough to keep an eye on things but far enough to enjoy your meal while you watch. It helps that they staff the play area and the employee not only spoke English and Spanish (and I wouldn't be surprised if she also spoke French, although we didn't test that theory), she was kind and attentive and actively engaged with the kids in her care. As a parent of 3 young children close in age, it's rare we get to eat a meal at a restaurant without tantrums or screen time but it turns out all we needed was a bouncy castle nearby. If your kids are 10 and under they'll love it. You might even get a chance to eat a whole meal without sharing, if...
