We are so happy that we found Vicencio Restaurant. Such a lovely place, stellar service and wonderfully attentive staff. Our visit was close to closing and the food was flavorful and tasted as fresh as the first meal of the day. Cooked well and so very tasty. Complementary smoked Marlén tostadas were delicious and something we had never tried before. We also had a shrimp tostada. Full of fresh flavors and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. My catch of the day was done just right. We additionally ordered the seared tuna, not pictured. Our server noted the tuna was a bit over cooked and that they would redo the order if we wished. Husband declined, yet they did proceed to bring a new portion of beyond perfectly cooked tuna. So thoughtful and a very nice gesture by the restaurant. Outstanding service. We completed our meal with a corn cheesecake that was also very good. Apparently only made on the weekend and we were lucky to have opportunity to enjoy. We would 100% return here. And bring our friends! Definitely try a meal here. We think you will not be disappointed one bit. Thank you for a memorable meal. We wish you much success and happiness in the...
Read moreIn the 10 months since our first visit to Vicencio Restaurant we have recommended it countless times, so I have no good explanation as to why it took us so long to return. Tonight’s meal lived up to our delicious memories of the last time.
My husband started with an octopus tostada, which was followed by noteworthy smoked marlin tostadas as a gift from the chef. Just as we finished, a bowl of warm water with lime and basil appeared so we could rinse our fingers.
We both had the 7 Seas Soup (mine without pulpo … I just can’t eat it anymore after seeing the documentary “My Octopus Teacher.” 🤷🏼♀️) The broth was light but complex in flavor and the bowl was full of seafood, beautifully presented.
After the messy work of crab cracking, another finger spa arrived. We capped the evening by splitting capirotada (similar to bread pudding) topped with artisanal corn ice cream.
The food, our waiter, the experience … all exceptional. If you’re visiting PV, skip the touristy restaurants and come here. And if you live here like we do, put Vicencio Restaurant in your...
Read moreWe tripped across this quaint little seafood restaurant on our walk & the waiter Giovanni called us in and we viewed the menu. We returned a few nights later & enjoyed an outstanding meal with superb service! Our group of 4 had the red snapper, the mahi mahi & the “oregano” catch of the day. The staff is a small Italian family that provided phenomenal service providing all the extras from complimentary ice water, chilled wine glasses, cleaned the menus before passing them out, inquired about allergies, provided a free delicious appetizer, and the meals were absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful and so tasty. Great ambience with awesome music. The chef gave us a dessert of a tasty popcorn flavoured ice cream…so original & yummy! Highly recommend this...
