From my POV I think that the restaurant doesn’t have a big variety of food. In my case, I ordered shrimp empanadas and the dough was extra salty, they were filled with a lot of cheese and veggies when clearly they stated that the empanadas were supposed to be filled with shrimp. In the last empanada, I found a shrimp tail and I find that annoying. On the side of my plate, the rice was cold and dry. They gave me a poor ration of salad and it had a weird taste.
The service was annoying, while I was about to give my order the waitress began to have a conversation with another customer who was about to leave. I found that pretty disrespectful.
And don’t get me started with the restaurant appearance. The restrooms were disgusting. The chairs were sticky. And it’s notorious that the restaurant needs to be remodeled and repainted.
From my customer view, I wouldn’t go back plus comparing with the prices from other restaurants the menu was expensive. The plates weren’t worth the price.
I wouldn’t even give them a star but this is the only way to...
Read moreFirst time eating here, and it was a pleasant experience. Beautiful restaurant and sitting upstairs offers great views and a nice breeze coming off the lake. The staff is very friendly and the service was excellent. The menu offers a wide selection of meals that should satisfy everyone. The food quality and flavors were outstanding, which justified slightly higher prices than other local places. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 Star review (which I only rate if everything is perfect) was that a few items were slightly cold. I informed the waiter, and this won't keep me from coming back. Everything else was top notch, and I'll change this review if it improves next time. The wife's breakfast Americano combo was very good. My chilaquilles were also, and the Skirt Steak was an excellent addition and value. I could literally cut it with my fork! Most tender Skirt Steak I've ever had!...
Read moreToday I finally tried this place. We ate upstairs with a glorious breeze off the lake and front row table enjoying the view. The staff was very friendly. Food was excellent. I had Chiles en Nogada because it is only available for a short time. Nobody came to check on us while we ate, so I was unable to obtain some lime, which I wanted, but otherwise, we were happy. My friend got chilaquiles with green sauce and had to take some home. They are pretty much only a breakfast place, though open until 2 pm. We were expecting a lunch menu, so just 4 stars because I think they could have a different menu after noon. In fact, it would be very lovely in the evening, but they aren't open. Go figure. This is an excellent place for breakfast or brunch and I...
