Great Sea Food & Superb Steaks Served with a Smile

Three glasses of Great Margaritas or Wine (M/W) served with certain meals (just ask which - all steaks & most sea food dinners) costing 120-200 Pesos.

We started with the shrimp dishes (including M/W), which were awesome, and then took a chance on the steak (on our 4th visit). The Filet Mignon is Large, Tender (16oz?) and Delicious for 160! The T-bone is superb, as are all of the other steaks (I've had them all). I've now had most of their steaks and can tell you that they are all great, but the filet is the best! My wife is all about the shrimp, but after she had a bite of my fillet, she has ordered it 4 times in a row! I am shocked but I can't blame her.

The service is also superb, too.

Today, we have a table of 10 or more Russians sitting next to us and all of the outside tables are Full, while all of the other, neighboring restaurants have been sitting empty!

The sea view is also nice. They have an open kitchen you can see from tables inside, clean his & her bathrooms, and sinks with liquid soap, Yes!

The value is Amazing, with great food, great service and great view. We have met people who drive over from Ajijic just to dine here.

Note: They Do have High Chairs for toddlers.

I see as many people drinking the white wine as I see drinking margaritas. I just had the red and it is nice (I am not a conneisour). My wife has been enjoying it every day.

If you like hot food and raw shrimp, I can highly recommend Camerones Al Agua-Chille. It an amazing dish of raw, peeled shrimp on a bed of lettuceand customers, covered with a green chili sauce and avocado slices, with a small bowl of the green chili sauce in the center of the plate. My husband & I dined here yesterday with friends. It is in a great spot with lovely views of the lake and park. The service is friendly and swift & you are given tortilla chips and various dips on arrival. Also, a tasty tomato soup is complementary on arrival. With our main meals, we had 3 free margaritas. This was my first ever margarita, and it was very refreshing. For mains, i I had the 3 butter trout & was disappointed as I was expecting a thicker and moist fillet. Perhaps my expectations were wrong. My husband had the Fillete Mignon, which was sadly full of grizzle. Our friends had Shrimp dishes and they said they were delicious. We will return, but try...

There were four of us for lunch. The seafood we ordered was fine, nothing special. The restaurant also offers a selection of steak and chicken dishes. One person ordered a steak. It was disgusting, most likely past its prime. We told the waiter, but he seemed unconcerned and didn't offer any apologies or solutions. He wanted to bill us for it anyway. When we paid our bill, our waiter did not return with change. When we asked for our change, he seemed surprised, apparently assuming that all the change was for him. The restaurant is in a nice location, but there are other choices....
