Food: The Pajeon as an entry is a good choice, it is served as if it were a small pizza and tastes delicious. For the main dish I recommend the Ramyeon Miso, it has great flavor and it's a good portion, we had also the Bibim Ramen which tastes spicy and can be a little too much if you don't usually eat spicy food, but when mixed with the sweet black sauce they give you it's an excellent flavor, that one doesn't have broth as the normal Ramen but you won't miss it. Mocktails are excellent, I specially recommend the Sonyeon, you can see it in the pictures as the little white beverage, it has some yogurt and tastes like piña colada(?. The other drink is Mango-Maracuya and although it tasted good it was a little too acidic for me.

Service was excellent, as they were at their max customers capacity food delivery was a little slow but nothing to be mad about. I recommend this place. The total amount for 2 people with an entree, 2 main dishes and 2 beverages was about $800 Mexican Pesos. They take cards, and Santander's Cashback does apply with their NetPay...

We went here twice in a row for dinner! First night we come here for Korean BBQ, food is great, waiter is very nice and kind to explain things to us even our Spanish is not that good, thanks to his patient. It’s good that we seat outside so we don’t end up smells like BBQ lol

The 2nd night we come back for another dinner, I order started with fried chicken and a Bibim tocino as main, while my friend he order the 880 peso again lol

I love the bowl of rice, good rice and well flavoured meat and veggies, the fried chicken starter is nice, I was worry if it’s very deep fried chicken but it’s not and with the sweet chili sauce? Make everything perfect!

It’s only our 2nd visit but I’m sure we will come...

Primera experiencia en SSAM Comida Coreana en Plaza La Perla, Guadalajara: una mezcla de excelencia y decepción

Decidí visitar SSAM Comida Coreana por primera vez para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposa, motivado por las excelentes recomendaciones que había leído. Desde el primer contacto, la experiencia fue prometedora. Al llamar para hacer una reservación, la anfitriona Diana me atendió de manera excepcional, ella me comentó que de cortesía otrogan un postre por motivo de cumpleaños a sus clientes, lo cual me pareció un detalle encantador para mi esposa.

Al llegar al restaurante, fuimos recibidos con amabilidad y atención. Mientras mi esposa se dirigía al baño, Diana me confirmó que nuestro mesero, Gael, estaba al tanto de la sorpresa. Ya en la mesa, Gael nos atendió de manera impecable, explicando con detalle cada aspecto de la parrillada coreana, los cortes de carne y los acompañamientos. Optamos por la parrillada, y debo decir que fue una elección perfecta: la carne era de una calidad excepcional, tierna y llena de sabor, y los acompañamientos complementaban la experiencia a la perfección.

Sin embargo, lo que prometía ser una velada perfecta se vio empañado por un pequeño, pero significativo, detalle. Tras disfrutar de nuestra comida, esperé pacientemente el prometido postre de cumpleaños para mi esposa, el cual nunca llegó. Intenté alargar la sobremesa, bebiendo lentamente mi bebida y buscando la oportunidad de recordárselo a la anfitriona, pero ella estaba ocupada y no pude localizar a nuestro mesero. Finalmente, pedí la cuenta y nos retiramos, satisfechos con la comida, pero con un sentimiento agridulce por la sorpresa que nunca se materializó.

En resumen, SSAM Comida Coreana ofrece una experiencia culinaria extraordinaria, con un servicio en su mayoría excelente, pero fallaron en un detalle que, para mí, era importante. Es un lugar al que sin duda volvería por su comida, pero espero que en el futuro cuiden más esos pequeños gestos que pueden marcar la diferencia en una...
