Tai Spice — Restaurant in Jalisco

Update: Latest visit was way disappointing, seems like owner has left or there is change in management.

There is drop in quality of food and service has dropped considerably.

Latest staff is standing on head picking up plates even if it is not finished. Have to ask for basic stuff like sauces and tissues.

For some reason they have stopped the menu in english. Totally opposite as per my usual visit to the place.

Will try them once more before concluding to avoid this place totally.

This is a hidden gem in Guadalajara..!

Restaurants serves some real good chinese dishes with very good and balanced flavours. They also adjust the level of spice according to your request. This is much better than P.F.Chang.

Majority of asian food serving restaurants sell sushi mostly. But this restaurant has a wide variety of dishes to try.

I ordered the following items Thai Hot n Sour soup : it didnt look appealing at all but it tasted 100 times much better than it looked

Firecracker shrimp : made perfectly with crunchy outside and beefy shrimp inside

Prawns stir fry rice: the lovely wok hay made the fried rice fantastic

Food is moderately priced, it will cost you approx 500$ for 2 people having appetizer / main...

I think the prices are too high for what you are served. The food was good, but I could have done with the music not being so loud. The restaurant was curiously non-Thai in many ways, such as the Chinese explanations, music choice, bread rolls served with dip, etc.

I am going to take some blame for carelessly ordering spring rolls when what I normally think of as spring rolls are called Vietnamese summer rolls here. Also the side salad was pretty disappointing. Think of the most boring salad you could imagine and that it what you will be served. The noodles in my pad Thai weren’t the normal pad Thai noodles (not even the same as what is pictured in other reviews). I wish that they would have told me if they were out of the normal noodles if that...

I LOVE this restaurant!!! Every dish I've ordered has been delicious. I was so happy to find a Thai food restaurant in Zapopan that serves yummy Thai Ice Tea, Pineapple Thai Fried Rice, and so many other great dishes. The owner is very involved in the restaurant and it's very likely he will greet you at your table to welcome you and offer suggestions on what to order if you are not sure how to best combine the delicious variety of flavors available.
