Fattoush — Restaurant in Mérida

We were running errands in the north and stopped here for lunch. There were a few tables outside, but we opted to sit inside and enjoy the A/C.

After checking the online menu, we started with Baba Ganoush and Sambousek (empanadas)—two meat and two cheese. The Baba Ganoush was well-seasoned and the best I’ve had in Mérida. The Sambousek were crispy and delicious, with creamy cheese and perfectly seasoned meat.

For mains, I had a Falafel Burrito, which was essentially a falafel wrap with fresh tomato. It was a bit dry but balanced out with tahini. My wife had a Kafta Burrito, made with seasoned meat patties—very flavorful.

It was a lot of food! We probably could have just shared the Baba Ganoush and Sambousek. We only finished half of our burritos and took the rest home.

I highly recommend this place. I was looking for a good Lebanese restaurant in Mérida with varieties of Lebanese traditional menu and I finally found it here. Well rounded deal. Good location with parking available, AC, great ambiance, clean, awesome and welcoming service, reasonable prices and lastly but not least very delicious food. Over all great experience!! You walk in and the owner greets you, very friendly we chatted up a bit. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and very clean. The waitress was very nice and patient. We ordered two combo plates the vegetarian and the Fattoush. The amount of food was great, I couldn’t finish my plate. The hummus, the babaganoush, the tabbouleh were amazing!!
