The coffee LOOKS nice. More about the taste below. Staff understood English well. However, the staff attitude was not so good though. The music was loud to the point that my group couldn’t hear each other very well. We asked to the turn the music down a notch, they did. But as once I turned around, they increased it again! The coffee did not taste so good. Lattes are more recommended than espressos, which means the more the milk the more tolerable the coffee. If you are an espresso person, this might not be the place for you. The beans taste is more acidic than refreshing. They seem to be using using good coffee beans but not suitable for espresso drinks.

I was very exited to try this coffee shop bc I follow a YouTuber who recommended this place but after trying their coffee and buying a bag of coffee beans I am pretty disappointed. Drank a Cortado and espresso shot but felt like it was very under extracted. Proceeded and purchased a bag of coffee beans for $350 pesos(22usd) from “Michoacán” and the coffee beans were burnt and unevenly roasted. I would totally have asked for a new bag of coffee beans but don’t live in Mexico. I did tried the drip coffee and it was quite good but wouldn’t recommend anything else.

Warm Hojicha latte was more watered down with milk than I expected and not as sweet as I'd asked. Shared Sugar/spoons were randomly on another person's table as opposed to on a rack of its own. No one came to ask if I wanted another drink, despite not yet paying (why can't I pay after ordering of there's no table service)? And seems I was slightly overcharged for the milk in the drink. Menu is a bit weird to read. WiFi has a bizarre password and never worked.

To break down my rating, I give the coffee a 10, the music a 1, and the atmosphere a 4. My chemex was excellent. Really really good. As for atmosphere, it's a dark, narrow cafe with a couple of tables and no decoration to speak of, so it's "meh" at best.

The irritant was the music. It was super screechy jazz (?) played at the highest level imaginable. We were there for about 40 minutes, and each song seemed more abrasive and louder than the previous one. If you want a coffee for takeaway, this café is a great option. If you want to converse, be on your laptop or read, however, do yourself a favor and...

As I arrived, the girl at the counter is sick in her smartphone. I wait but my presence makes no difference. I take a seat. Two minutes later, the other girl, going the dishes, turns around and asks if they can serve me something. A cold Americano". "The closest thing we have is a cold brew". How can an espresso car make espressos and have ice and water but not be able to make a cold espresso? I receive my cold brew: a crisp clean flavor, but not the best I've had. Maybe I'm biased and I had too many expectations from the reviews I read before. I'm...
