The coffee LOOKS nice. More about the taste below. Staff understood English well.

However, the staff attitude was not so good though. The music was loud to the point that my group couldn’t hear each other very well. We asked to the turn the music down a notch, they did. But as once I turned around, they increased it again!

The coffee did not taste so good. Lattes are more recommended than espressos, which means the more the milk the more tolerable the coffee. To break down my rating, I give the coffee a 10, the music a 1, and the atmosphere a 4. My chemex was excellent. Really really good. As for atmosphere, it's a dark, narrow cafe with a couple of tables and no decoration to speak of, so it's "meh" at best.

The irritant was the music. It was super screechy jazz (?) played at the highest level imaginable. We were there for about 40 minutes, and each song seemed more abrasive and louder than the previous one. If you want a coffee for takeaway, this café is a great option. As I arrived, the girl at the counter is sick in her smartphone. I wait but my presence makes no difference. I take a seat.
