Balkan Grill — Restaurant in Mexico City

Update November 2022: (2 stars) We visited the place 1.5 months later, and everything had changed. First of all the bread that they used to serve was delicious, now it just tastes like a standard Mexican bolillo. Before they used to give out sauces, this time we had to ask for more sauce and charged 25 pesos for it (only found out at payment). Food quantity decreased. Dessert is still okay but not at the level from 2 months ago. The staff is nice but they didn't really seem like they knew what they were doing. Really disappointing because we thought we had found a local gem. I probably won't go back.

September 2022: (5 star review) We recently moved into the neighborhood and this is now going to be our local favorite. Great hamburgers, amazing desserts with good, generous portion - to an extent we had to cut the hambúrguer in half and take the other half home....

I ordered via Rappi a moment ago. (5) Potres Baklava and (1) Queso azu+tocino ahumado burger.

The burder taste good after2 bites I immediately begin vomitting ... it was very painful. I think the bluecheese might of been bad.

It gets worse ...

I love me Baklava. I ordered (5) because it is impossible to get wrong. This has to be the worse Baklava I have ever had. When you bite into baklava your want crunch and flaky this was exact opposite. So so suggy it was like mush in the middle and very very oily. It was like a sponge cake in the middle. I had a huge sweet tooth so I ended up just eating the crust and tossing the rest. So disappointed ... thought about catching a taxi and going to location. Baklava did not make me sick however.

I would be ashamed to serve...

Not sure how this got so many 5 star reviews. The good! The service is very friendly and professional. The kinda good, french fries were fresh made and tasty (but cheap fake ketchup on hand). The burger was absolutely not great, it is a wierd meat patty, with funny taste and an awful thin dry bun. My whole family disliked it and I just do not get how it can get great reviews.
