honestly we searched the wrong place on uber and ended up here instead of at a restaurant with a similar name. but we are glad we did. we ended up in this market called Mercado de la Escandón, and this restaurant was one of the vendor stands inside. easy to find. it was nice to see the lady cooking right in front of us. she was very kind and attentive, along with the men who were working with her. my brother and i each had a bowl of consome (soup/broth) and shared half a kilo of barbacoa with corn tortillas to make tacos. the bottled mango juice was refreshing and delicious too.
