I have to say that after eating here no less than ten times, it thoroughly deserves 5 stars. It has a lot of options but if you go for the main dishes (ie, barbacoa), they are consistently great. The barbacoa never disappoints and the tortillas and salsa are pretty good too. If you get tired of barbacoa, they have a lot of great choices.

Service is always good too, and frankly the prices are pretty reasonable.

If you happen to be visiting the Bazar del Sábado, this is a fantastic option, much cheaper than the...

Authentic. Delicious. Service was great by the host but the actual server could have improved. We had the table at the very front right of the restaurant and the hostess was there and always helping. Flautas, tacos, chicken tortilla soup, mole sauce, salsa verde etc were all very good. Oh And how could I forget the sangria. 10/10 would recommend. Hopefully your...

Update as of 2/18/18. Again we had an excellent time here with our friends from Polanco. The menue slightly changed, but as good as ever. They have secrete sauces you need to ask for. Wait staff is better trained now and beers flaw was endless! Viva barbacoa!

Very good food. Staff should have some skills to explain their...

This place is in the “entrance” to the San Angel park and its a really nice place to visit on a Sunday. As a Mexican, I was familiar with Barbacoa, but this place takes using Barbacoa to a whole new level. The Agua fresca and dishes are great. Really recommend the elote dessert.
