Barbacoa San Ángel — Restaurant in Mexico City

I have to say that after eating here no less than ten times, it thoroughly deserves 5 stars. It has a lot of options but if you go for the main dishes (ie, barbacoa), they are consistently great. The barbacoa never disappoints and the tortillas and salsa are pretty good too. If you get tired of barbacoa, they have a lot of great choices.

Service is always good too, and frankly the prices are pretty reasonable.

Authentic. Delicious. Service was great by the host but the actual server could have improved. We had the table at the very front right of the restaurant and the hostess was there and always helping. Update as of 2/18/18. Again we had an excellent time here with our friends from Polanco. The menue slightly changed, but as good as ever. They have secrete sauces you need to ask for. Wait staff is better trained now and beers flaw was endless! Viva barbacoa!
