Its interior is charming, minimal, and cozy for a coffee date; however, if you are willing to have breakfast on weekends, I recommend you get there early to get a quick seat. My partner and I went on a Sunday morning, we arrived at 0900h and were given a table almost 50min later. There were two families with more than 5 members each, babies included, that decided to leave before being seated at separate tables. Besides having to wait a considerable amount of time and their tight space, Café C's menu is okay. My partner ordered chilaquiles and I had a Montecristo sandwich, and after trying out meals we noticed that there was something missing: it lacked that spark that makes you fall in love with your food. In Mexico we call that 'sazón', which can be understood as that 'extra' the cook adds while preparing your meal. They can definitely add that extra to make the experience even better. A must is their latte art, we ordered baby chicks and puppies for ours and they were exquisite, the foam was delicious and our coffees were on point.

Café C is one of the most Instagrammable spots I've ever visited 📸. If you’re all about aesthetic vibes, this place is a must-see. Their menu offers a lot of options, but the real star is the coffee ☕—they create masterpieces with the foam that are almost too beautiful to drink. The presentation of every dish is incredible 🎨—you’ll want to snap a picture before digging in. We tried the avocado toast 🥑, which was delicious, and the huevos rancheros 🌶️—though, be warned, the sauce isn’t spicy (great for tourists, but might disappoint Mexicans). The pancakes were also remarkable 🥞. On the downside, the prices are pretty steep 💸, likely due to the place's ongoing trendiness. Also, it’s best to arrive early; after 10 am, it’s nearly impossible to get a table 🕙. Parking in the area is a nightmare 🚗, so plan accordingly. While the atmosphere is worth every penny 🌟, the service doesn’t quite match up. If you’re looking for a visually stunning spot to enjoy a good meal and take some pictures, Café C is worth checking out.

I got a latte with “lavanda”, which doesn’t taste at all like lavender and is basically an extremely sugary cafe latte. We shared a scone that was good. As I’m vegetarian they took the meat out of the croque madame, but it didn’t taste good and is far away from the original French recipe. We got food poison a few hours after (the other dish we ordered was Shashuka). Moreover, the place is so popular you have to arrive on the weekend at 8ish when they open, otherwise you will have to wait around an hour. I recommend the cafe on the other side of the street, way better without waiting lines! The service was nice as long as we were ordering, but after one of us finished their food, they came by every 5 minutes to check if we wanted something else. We felt pressured to hurry and leave the place after 1,5h. Therefore, it was also not a nice atmosphere as they try to politely kick you out, once they cannot make more money with you. Overrated and definitely not recommend!
